Pretty amazing to see what Marvel has built and how it will culminate in Infinity War, really excited for this.
IF Disney buys Fox, the question is do they reboot X-Men and FF? If they don't, what happens with Wolverine?Definitely. They've built an amazing Cinematic universe. I can't wait to see this, and the second part in 2019 as well. Both to see how they conclude this "phase" or era, and then what lies in store for the future.
With talk of Fox possibly selling the rights to the X-Men and Fantastic Four back to Disney, the future just might be even more exciting.

They have been VERY hush hush on the next phase. You don't think they have this planned out with X-Men and FF? I bet they do. Garfield wasn't as hot has the rebooted X-men.Just my opinion obviously, but I think that Marvel would treat everything as if it was brand new and never acknowledge any prior incarnations of the characters.
Take Spider-Man for instance. Despite the fact that the Andrew Garfield films were recent, they decided to recast the role with Tom Holland once they had a deal worked out with Sony. Start completely fresh.
I'd expect them to do that if they got these properties back as well.
And while I would have loved to have seen Hugh Jackman's Wolverine in the MCU, the timing just never worked out and it was not to be.
If the timing of a deal could be worked out, it wouldn't shock me to see some mention of the characters happen in Avengers 4, but a deal would have to be made pretty quickly as that thing is currently in production.

lol, Thanos and his army are trembling at the thought of facing Black Widow. Still don't know what the infactuation with that character is. No powers, but she can kick! Looks like Spidey now has an armor Iron Man type suit.
I don't feel bad for Marvel not having X-Men, they signed on the dotted line and agreed to the terms.
I think not having the crutch of X-Men has only helped them.
I think that in the end, Fox did justice by Wolverine and hopefully the success with Logan and Deadpool will convince them there's a benefit to having a director with an actual vision beyond the generic.
It sure doesn't look like Thanos is trembling at the thought of facing anyone in that trailer.

Well at least the other Avengers have some kind of power that has more force than the non deadly 'kick' by Black Widow. Her character is beyond boring.
There's plenty of other shiny objects to distract you if you find her boring, not sure why it's an issue.
Not everyone has to be The Hulk.
I agree that they haven't really delivered on her original intention as a super spy and international assassin, but they haven't been making spy or assassin movies so most of her work happens off camera.

Sure, not from a business perspective, but as a fan? Yeah, I want Marvel to get the rights back, for my own sake. Disney and Marvel have a well-organized and constructed system in place. Hit after hit, after hit. They obviously know what they're doing.
X-Men films have made money despite Fox botching things at every turn, and the. Having to reboot and retcon their own mistakes.
It certainly made them go in different directions. In fact, they've lessened the mutants role in the comics, and have stopped printing Fantastic Four entirely. They tried to make the Inhumans their version of mutants, and failed.
Deviating from their past patterns. Those films had the least amount of studio involvement and meddling and were the most praised.
But it sounds to me like Fox is getting out of films and someone is getting those rights, one way or another.
I don't see how they possibly could considering they don't own the movie rights. You can't base your plans on things you don't have.
I don't think the rebooted X-Men are that "hot" at all. The main X-Men films have been trending downward. What success they've had is despite Fox, not because of them.
It's actually why the films went the Avengers route in the first place. Those were the rights Marvel still had. Prior to that, everything in Marvel had an "X" on it. I'm an Avengers guy but I know that was the case. And, like other properties, I think Marvel would do a much better job with the characters. All of them.
Well, my point is anyone can be an Avenger if she is one. Any joe off the street that can hold a gun or kick can be an Avenger.
I've often felt that it's been a missed opportunity to take some Marvel characters into that "spy" or "secret agent" area. It worked for the Bourne series (until that last one!) and has worked for James Bond for years.
I think they have the opportunity to take some characters like Black Widow and Hawkeyes into that realm. But it seems like they prefer to get lighter (Thor Ragnarok) rather than heavier. But I guess we'll see because this Infinity War looks pretty heavy.
IF Disney owned Deadpool, doubt you would of gotten a film made. They are kinda flirting with the darkness with this new Thor movie, but are largely staying away.
