I'm sure even The Avengers has regular joes working human resources or something.

That said, she's not a regular joe off the street that can hold a gun and kick.

She has, at the very least, typical superhero powers like durability, fast healing, enhanced strength, etc. Think of her are a less souped-up Captain America.

That's new to me. Didn't know she was in on the Captain America super strength program. As for enchanced strength, she never shows it.

You could, if your next few installments are current people, and lets say 2022ish is FF and X-Men. What about X-Force? I would LOVE to see a Galactus story with a Silver Surfer origin.

I'd have to think that current plans are fluid, as they all should be. Nothing set in stone. I'd have to believe that they'd have two sets of long term plans. One where they get the rights back and one where they don't.

I'm not sure if any of you have ever heard of The Sentry, but he's a concept and character that's fascinated me for years and I think he'd be a great new addition to the MCU. His story would allow them to go in all kinds of directions.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. A black widow Bourne type of movie could be great and a new genre for Marvel, kind of like how they're going horror with New Mutants.

I don't know about you, but that New Mutants thing has the stench of failure all over it to me. That's Fox for ya. But I totally agree about going the soy route with Widow and Hawkeye. I thought they did a great job with the espionage stuff in Winter Soldier.

I don't even think it has to be super dark. I watched Atomic Blonde recently and I think something like that could work for Widow.

I can dig that!

Born circa 1928, Natalia "Natasha" Romanova was apparently orphaned as a child when she was trapped in a burning building during an early attack on Stalingrad by enemy forces. Ivan Petrovitch Bezukhov, a Soviet soldier, found Natasha in the inferno and rescued her. Although Ivan kept a close eye on Natasha as she grew, by the late 1930s she had attracted the attention of Soviet intelligence, which began her training.

Government treatments have slowed her aging, augmented her immune system and enhanced her physical durability.

I don't mean she was literally on the same program. I'm just saying she's got a lesser version of the same powers Captain America has, which is just the usual superhero stuff: strength, speed, agility, etc.

She must have been in some sort of program or something to alter her physical ability.

I believe he is Marvels version of Supes but a little crazy.

That's definitely a tricky property. But he's still prominently featured in the comics realm, and I'm not sure of you've seen the Netflix Marvel stuff. That can get pretty gritty and dark.
Yeah, BIG Punisher fan. Hope Blade comes to Netflix.

I can not wait to see this movie. I've been waiting for this since it became clear that they were obviously building to the arrival of Thanos. This is going to be really cool I think.

Oh, he's more than a "little crazy"!

But I think that his power and his story are something vastly different from the norm and would allow Marvel to go down much different and more complex roads than they have before.

I've always felt the creativity of that story was an amazing take on comic book superheroes and the usual formula.

I think that Blade would fit into that realm nicely. And having him there could keep the "edge" that I think his stories need.

I think the Cloak and Dagger property would fit in well there too, possibly Moon Knight as well if they ever decide to use him.

One things for sure, with all of those characters and stories converging, it's going to require one heck of a juggling act!

Looks really good. I will buy my tickets as soon as possible.

Slight Spoilers and Mostly Speculation:

Even though this looks really good, it looks like the story itself may be pretty predictable:

I think Thanos is going to spend this movie kicking everyone’s *** to get infinity stones. And it seems like he’s going to succeed in doing just that:

To refresh, we’ve currently have seen 5 of the 6 infinity stones that Thanos wants/needs to be the… baddest-evilest-guy ever (does motive really matter?):

Cosmic Cube/Tesseract – Space Stone
Scepter – Mind Stone
Aether – Reality Stone
Orb (GoG)—Power Stone
Eye of Agamotto—Time Stone

In the trailer we essentially see the entire acquisition of the Space Stone.

Following the events of Thor: Ragnarok, we know that Thor & Loki are leading Asgardian refugees to Earth. In the trailer, we see Thor Struggling. Thor Alone. Dead Asgardians and Rubble. Loki handing over the Tesseract. And finally we see Thanos with two Infinity stones (and even displaying the power of the Space Stone by teleporting).

The Second infinity stone is the Power Stone, which was last left with Nova Corps, so I suspect that this is how the film may open: An awesome depiction of Thanos’ assault on Xandar… or who knows, we may not actually see this happen.

We also see Thanos arriving in New York where Dr. Strange has the Time Stone around his neck (and I don’t think Vision is too far away either with the Mind Stone Temporarily attached to his forehead).

And lastly we see Wakanda under siege. I suspect this means we will see the 6th and final Infinity Stone, the Soul Stone, come into play in Black Panther when it’s released Feb of next year.

Meaning, the only stone unaccounted for so far is the Reality Stone (Aether).

So my theory is that Thanos is going to curb stomp our heroes and successfully take all 5 infinity stones, and Infinity Wars: PT II would likely center around our heroes preventing Thanos from getting the Aether.

The plot is a bit easy to piece together from the trailer, but I think that’s intentional and not even really that important.

The bigger theme seems to be “loss”.

I think we’re going to see some big characters die in this one. The real mystery is ‘who?’.

Going to be a great movie.

No doubt. I feel like there will be disappointed/pissed off people cause obviously some people just aren't going to get the same screen time as others and it's likely to make some people mad. But that's how it has to be with so many characters in play here.

True.

I'm actually also concerned about how they're going to give all the guys that die off worthy deaths.

Especially if you're talking about guys that have been around since early in the game like Cap & Ironman.

Very important factor I agree.

Who are they going to kill off and how?

Will they go the route of killing off Cap and/or Ironman or will the movie people cheese out and kill of lesser characters to make these guys come together stronger?

I'm interested to see just who all does get killed off by Thanos.
