Trading up for the workhorse would be a sly move. A nice upgrade between the tackle runner to replace Marion. A lot cheaper, and a motivated player against the Giants twice a year. Shouldn't cost that much.

idk if i would trade up for a running back especially if we need more things on defense. If we was the packers maybe but to loose our 2 and 3 for a running back especially when we draft felix number 1 not too long ago. Just isnt too smart.

The more he slides the more tempting it becomes. The less it will cost to move up........

That said I dont know if Dallas would take Ingram even if he was sitting their still in the 2nd round...

It is fun to watch and wonder though.

If Ingram is still there at 32, Green Bay nabs him.

He would be wasted there. They like going 4 WRs, 5 WRs, they got Jermichael Finley, they have Aaron Rogers. They run only to keep the other team honest.... Starks and Grant are more that fine for their offense.

Good moves being made by the Saints.

No doubt. Geez.

You wonder when the Pats are ever going to cash in all those firsts, though. Maybe they think they'll do this every year until they think they need to trade up for Brady's successor. I dunno.

Patriots load up once again with a second round pick and a first round pick next year.....why cant Dallas take teams for picks like the Patriots do year in and year out

I am literally starting to hate New England.

Seriously, how do they always load up and get another 1st rounder.

Imagine if they offer those 1st rounders next year and the following year to move up to #1 and secure Luck.

It's ridiculous that teams constantly give New England a king's ransom.

Kiper made a great point, trade down all you want, but you are missing good players. Ingram would have been great in NE.

He would have but this league is all about QBs.

Tom Brady's a little long in the tooth. If New England can get Luck to train under Brady for a few years and then take over, this move would have been well worth it.

The Patriots live and die by the pass. A RB is a luxury for them. Ingram would have been a hell of a pick but in the grand scheme of things, a potential shot at a QB who everyone regards as a franchise player is worth much, much more.

Doesn't seem to help them lately. They haven't won a playoff game since 07. People need to stop putting the Patriots on some pedestal. They have been exposed a lot lately.
