I agree. I am fine with a June 1st cut of Tyron because it gives us plenty of time to find depth. However, I don't want to jump the gun and start cutting people without going through free agency and the draft to see if we find a legitimate replacement. If we don't find a legitimate replacement then we can just suck it up and keep Tyron for another year. Players that I am onboard with cutting this year.

Ezekiel Elliott - should be easy to replace with all of the RBs in free agency and the depth in the draft - $4.8 million cap savings if cut prior to June 1st or $10.9 million cap saving after June 1st
Jourdan Lewis - $4.7 million saved on CAP
Tyron Smith - Need a replacement first - $9.6 million cap savings if cut prior to June 1st or $13.6 million cap saving after June 1st

Players I may consider cutting

Neville Gallimore - If we are just going to make him inactive every other week then we just as well cut him and save $2.7 million on the cap
Kelvin Joseph - this doesn't save us much cap space but this guy has loser written all over him - don't really like having knuckle heads on the roster, especially when the talent level is low. Only thing that may save him is special teams.
I agree on all the other cuts as well. I would give Joseph one more year.

Tyron doesnt play buddy. 6-8 games a year doesnt cut it. And this year hell probably get hurt in the first 8 and not play in the playoffs.

Forget about Tyron Smith. He is done and a waste of money. In the salary cap world that is an easy easy cut and savings.

You guys need to stop thinking about ONLY next year. Many cried getting rid of Collins and it was by far the right move. Draft well and play your young guys.
I agree on Tyron. I just don't know who we have on the roster that we can count on when it comes to the OLine. Right now these are the only guys on the roster that I trust to play significant time:

Zack Martin - stud
Tyler Smith - looks like a stud in the making
Tyler Biadasz - Pretty good center
Terence Steele - pretty good RT

So we basically have 4 guys that we like and a bunch of guys we know nothing about. We need to find a starting LG and find some depth.

EXACTLY! So I would love to see them draft the best guard or tackle in the first round. Can probably get one of the top guards at #26 position.

Now we have young and great starting 5 with martin the only older guy. Use modest FA to bring in swing backup.
