usually teams that are healthy at the end of the year have better chance in playoffs. with key players missing on defense, Steele out, Smith lost and now having to play RT, this team is playing a lot of their depth and there is a reason those guys aren't starters.....they are not as good. Joseph sucks. giving up a 59 yard TD pass.... you are a freaking 2nd round pick in your second year. bad tackling. 190+ yards of rushing.

so injuries are catching up. we are limping into playoffs. this defense can't win anything like this so its either we score 40+ points. or we lose. that simple.

Brown Lewis, Hankins, LVE, Parsons is not himself, he is defintley dinged, Armstrong, Safties dinged. this is a limping defense right now. we got 1 sack, against one of the worst OLs in the league and gave up 190+ yards rushing. 500 yards..... just let that sink in. 500 yards.......

Personally I think this was the best thing that could have happened. If coaches are smart they will sit everyone for a few weeks.

Even in threads about the defense playing poorly, he tries to make it about Dak. Even suggesting that Cooper Rush would have had the magic touch to make the defense play like the 85 Bears defense today. The two back up tackles being out for the Jaguars does bring up the question why the DLine couldn't get more pressure on Lawrence. But I guess some will find a way to blame the defense's lack of sacks in the last 2 games on Dak. lol

btw, that's his ammo, the defense prior to this game gave up 3 more points per game. 8 points on a last minute drive by giants and 6 points to hapless Chicago being down 21...

but hey those interceptions made the defense tired, although TOP was higher last 7 games including today...

Dak lives in his head, rent free.

We are hurting no doubt but look at San Francisco and Cincinnati. It is like they get stronger the more and more injuries they have.

Anthony Brown was giving up big plays too, if I recall. And he absolutely got toasted by Zay Jones last year when he played for Oakland. Diggs wasn't great today either. He seems to have given up coverage in search for INTs.

The O played well enough. 34 points should have been enough.
The D failed, but the O couldn't come through in the end.

We'll see how this team responds moving forward.
I would have liked for them to have played a more inspired game after almost losing last week and it looked like they were going to in the 1st half...

And then,
the wheels fell off on both ends.

Time for some serious introspections upon all parts of this team, including the coaching staff right about now.
