Reporting McSoup injuries that are not real? In the old days it was an issue teams hiding injuries....

Now its teams making up injuries? Food for thought....

Who polices this? :(

well lets find out...early in the game someone spear him right in the gut, and i dont care if its a late hit and 15 yard penalty. we can give up a 15 yard penalty early on.

Key was saying on his Thursday show he didnt think Donovan was THAT hurt. Thought it was more of the "warrior who played through pain" kinda thing. MVP material  He said he thinks Donovans going to milk this as long as he can since we all know how Eagles players love to be on the front page

I don't disagree with this at all.

The same people who police the player weights.

Al Singleton would be serving a 4 game suspension if they policed that!

I doubt it, because no one cares enough to make a suspendable rule.

You brought it up not me -

The league caress enough about injury lists. Lets see if Eagles get pinched.

The league does not care, it's their little double standard secret. The injury list is for the gamblers.

It's not Tags Reid needs to worry about. Just don't go on any boat rides with anyone named Tony, Andy.:D

How can we complain, JJ waslisted as doubtful in a game against the toughest run defesne in the ravens last year, and carried the ball 30+.

Chill, Hoov, such a thing would distract from those who deserve real credit for our victory. Let them bring their best; I don't care.

Mcnubb isn't hurt very badly at all, he looked as good as he ever has last game and he moved and scrambled and I didn't notice him slowed down one bit.
Everyone I've ever known with a sports hernia has had to stop and have surgery regardless of what sport they played because they just couldn't do much of anything with it.
Maybe the organization is somewhat responsible maybe mcnubb is just trying to redeem himself after his SB choking incident. Maybe he's getting old and not used to some of the aches and pains 5+ years of NFL beatings will give you.
Kinda reminds me a lot of S McNair. Here's this QB McNair who is bigger than some of his OL but gets injured every time he's hit. Then he comes back and everyone talks about how tough he is....maybe its not tough at all...maybe he's weak and a tough guy wouldn't have complained about it or came out of the game in the first place.
I see the same thing in basketball, these guys get hurt and lay on the floor for 5 minutes stopping the game and the commentators are talking about how terrible the injury might be, then the guy is back in the game the next dead ball. Obviously, the guy wasn't hurt very badly in the first place. I hate when people overdramatize...

What's sad is that it trickles down to the high school level as well. I ref b-ball for both boys and girls. They're actually trying to cut down on that kinda stuff at my level. Basically if that player can't walk off on their own, the team is charged a timeout. TO's are precious commodities so those players better get up quick if it's something simple. They do a quick substitution and the play goes on.

Boys aren't as bad, cuz they're too busy doing NBA impersonations...showing off their non-existent ball-handling skills...

But some girls would cry big crocodile tears on a simple hard pick and then look at me like I'm supposed to call something. I prolly would've if they hadn't started crying... Man, I hate all that whining... No blood, no foul... :p:

Hopefully the defence steps up and gives the Eagles some real injuries to report about.
