According to Stephen Jones, Tyron Smith will play vs. the Bears.

He had limited practice Friday but the pinched nerve is doing OK.

honestly for this game I'm cool with letting tyron rest if he needs it..... its 13 more games after this matter of fact with the injuries to chicago let him sit... that neck is no joke

I'm pretty certain that if Tyron came out of a game unexpectedly, Green would fill his spot. (like he briefly did already)

Just wondering out loud that in a case where they KNOW Tyron's not going to play at all beforehand, do they try to get their best 5 O lineman out there by moving a G to T and then plug Leary in. I wonder what options the coaching staff is considering.
No reports of an OG getting practice reps at LT. Martin did get get some reps at RT.

Bears inactives vs. Cowboys: CB Bryce Callahan, RB Ka'Deem Carey, QB Jay Cutler, CB Kyle Fuller, NT Eddie Goldman, C Eric Kush and linebacker Danny Trevathan. As expected, WR Alshon Jeffery (questionable) is active and expected to start.

I hope the players don't feel like you do. This is a trap game against a desperate team.
