Didn't see anything posted on it. I was told Dez was not practicing but on the sidelines riding a stationary bike. Anybody got any updates on his injury? I hope it's not more serious than initially diagnosed.

They did not think it warranted an MRI so its probably not that serious.

i saw a DMN article and BSPN article saying he's riding the bike and won't practice at all

then the blog on the teams website said he was on the bike and would be limited in practice.

since the media is not allowed to see most of practice it's hard to say for sure...but i would think it's likely he's just limited

Thanks, man. Let's hope they are just being extra cautious. Maybe we will get something from Garrett's PC, other than "day to day". :)

As for Bryant, I'm not too worried. I think if the team had a real concern about him, they wouldn;t have released Robinson like they did.

(although Robinson's hammy may have kept him unavaliable anyway...)

newman is NOT practicing

Thanks. I am somewhat surprised. Does not sound encouraging. Hopefully, he did not incur a setback. Man, I am really worried about these CB injuries. I really though Newman would be back this week.

Those deep thigh bruises are really painful and slow to heal. I just hope he's able to go tomorrow.

If he can't, I suspect Garrett will bend his "must practice to play" rule a little bit. ;)

He already backed off that in his presser last week saying that he will look at each case individually based on their experience and other factors and make the appropriate decision.

It was posted in the News Zone earlier today in two threads I believe.

I'm still bummed out that we never got to see a true Dez vs Revis matchup as Bryant was a straight up beast early on in that game and I was looking forward to seeing who would get the better of their one-on-one matchup.

For the record, my money was on Bryant!

;)

Good point about Bryant. I forgot about that.

"Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant said he injured his thigh returning a punt early in the first quarter Sunday against the Jets. Bryant said the thigh injury was "kind of bothering me, but I felt like I could push through, so I stayed in." Bryant had three catches for 71 yards, all in the first eight minutes of the first quarter. Bryant said he also cramped up during the game, having to go to the locker room in the second half. Bryant said his thigh is "nothing serious.""

Same here. I was looking forward to that matchup all night.

Of course, Dez catches a perfect back shoulder pass near the sideline for 26-yards, and he suddenly "owns" Revis.

Yeah, I think "Revis Island" will survive the "Dez Invasion" for now.
The mere fact that they put Revis on Dez shows you what kind of baller Dez is. I am really looking for big things from this kid. Especially since he is an East Texan like me. ;)

This is not an injury update. This is a question about Dez's injury...and some random hopes and guesses. You wasted two seconds of my life just now.

Thanks. Great! Lets hope that is not just competitor talk. :)

Sorry about that but I tried to see where I could try to change it. Maybe the Mods can add the "?":
