Ive just started my last week in the first month, and I can say that im noticing results. Muscle defintion is starting to show. But I was just wondering if anybody has finished all 60 days and wanted to know if you were pleased with your results. And if by chance did you ever try the Shakeology product. Ive checked prices and they run like $100 for the bag. I was interested in the effects on that and what type of protein recovery formula drinks you used.

Any help would be aweosme!! Thanks

I can't answer for Insanity but I've completed the P90x and have heard they're similar and both produce results. Maybe shakeology is good (never tried it) but I just make my own shakes and it's much cheaper.

Keep up the good work :D

Alot of it also has to do with eating correctly.

Pretty much the whole thing is just eating correctly. Doing the insanity side of it may give you the structure on where to start but ultimately a calorie deficit and any kind of exercise will get results.

Don't waste your money on the shakeology. It's probably just some overpriced meal replacement.

If you want a meal replacement than save some money and buy something off of bodybuilding.com like musclepharm combat powder.

Insanity is all about HIIT (high intensity interval training) which is a great way to lose weigh and increase cardio. P90X is more about muscle definition. Both guarantee great results if you follow the program - and both produce them IF you follow the diet, which is about 90% of any workout program.

They're both great exercises, but the only way you maximize results is by eating right.

I've done both (did about 3/4 of Insanity) and the results on both are great, but they're so much better if you eat the way they say, which is not easy to stick to.

This. I use combat powder religiously since i found it (use to take ON Whey / Pro 5 / Myofusion / Trutein) and it by far has given me the best results of all the protein shakes I have taken, and it tastes really good too. I recommend cookies n' creme :D

I agree with this for the most part except buying any supplements off Bodybuilding, or any other workout site for that matter, because you're not really going to save a whole lot of money.

Buying Musclepharm off of Bodybuilding is a lot like buying Shakeology off of Beachbody. I don't do either and would never do either.

You can find quality Whey Protein and replacement shakes at local places for far cheaper than dealing with places like Beachbody, Bodybuilding.com, or GNC.

Those places whole goal is to sell you hundreds of dollars worth of Supplements that are not needed to exercise, lose weight, and get in shape.

This may be true but the only local places we have around here are GNC :(.

Wal-Mart sales an ok tasting product for around 15 bucks. Five star I believe? 2.5 pounds.

If you are around a costco I think you can get 5 lbs of EAS for 30 dollars.

Sams used to carry EAS for 30 but then they switched to some other brand and it's terrible.

Yeah I've got a SAMS about 35 minutes away and I get my MuscleTech there. It doesn't taste great though. I agree with you there. I have to put it in milk, instead of water, and I have to put a banana and/or a small bit of peanut butter in mine to make it taste good.

Otherwise it's not good. I need to try some other brands but I do have the same problem being that all we have right in my town is GNC and they're just stupidly expensive.

I'll have to break down and go there eventually because I want to add some Casein protein in and they're the only place around here who carries it. Walmart and Sams don't carry any Casein. Which sucks cause their deals of Casein, depending on the size of the jug, are 35-120 dollars.

Any suggestions on great tasting Whey Protein? Do they make any kinds of whey that taste good in water where I wouldn't have to use milk every time? I'm not opposed to the milk cause it's the only time I really drink it is in my shakes (Usually no more than 1 shake, maybe a two occassionally, a day).

Whey, a metabolism booster/fat burner, fish oil, and a multivitamin are the only supplements I use. Like I said I plan on adding some Casein to that as well but that's about as far as I'd get to (I do have some Protein replacement bars for snacks that I like a lot and got at Sams) because it's really all I could afford.

I don't use a lot of whey anymore. I prefer a protein blend. That's why I like Muscle Pharm Combat Powder. I've heard good things about Trutein. Also I heard Myofusion went back to their old blend and that was solid stuff. Giant sports is also solid.

If you want Whey you should try MTS Whey or Cellucor.

Great taste on those.

No need to buy a bunch of different types of proteins. Save your money and just get a Whey or a Blend. You don't have to get both.

Also quit drinking that stuff in a shaker bottle.

Put it in a bowl and add just enough water to make it like a pudding or sludge. It's awesome.

Also you can throw some cottage cheese and Greek yogurt in it.

Thanks for the information. I'll give that a try and I'll look for either the blend or some different whey.

Trutein has a Cinnabun flavor that I love, even with just water (I use 6 oz. per scoop instead of 8). Obviously it's better with milk, but I use water because it is still great and limits the calories. It's about $60 for a 5 lb. tub.

I have an orange cream one I really like too, but I have to use milk with that one.

Only thing I don't like about the protein powders is they cause my skin to break out pretty bad when I use it often.

Get a Nutri-bullet. I use it everyday. I use OJ as a base.
