The Dallas Cowboys made headlines last weekend with a report that they proposed a joint Rams-Chargers stadium deal to the other 31 NFL teams. On Tuesday, following the Rams’ approved move to Los Angeles, ESPN’s Shelley Smith reported that Cowboys owner Jerry Jones “backdoored this whole deal.”

Jones called Rams owner Stan Kroenke “godsent” and an “angel” and reportedly gave a passionate speech on behalf of the Rams’ proposed move at Tuesday’s vote. Jones is among the richest and most powerful NFL owners, and according to reports, that group was strongly in favor of relocation. And it’s pretty clear why: Kroenke reportedly will write a check for $550 million to the NFL for the right to relocate the Rams to LA. That’s just for starters

So they complain when billionaires want public funding for stadiums and then complain when billionaire owners are willing to pay fo them themselves?

And some wait for the day the Jones family sell the Cowboys. Let me assure 'never' ever comes.

Don't think people have been hoping the Jones' clan would sell the goose that lays the golden eggs. Think they are hoping that once Jerry kicks the bucket Stephen would have the brains and lesser ego to manage this team differently. That remains to be seen, but I am beginning to think he will just do what papa is doing. Cha-ching.....$$$$$$

Yippee for us.......:flagwave:

You would think with all the power and influence Jerry Jones has in the league, that we wouldn't get screwed by the refs every freaking game.
