I'm just going to throw some grades around that might surprise.

Heath had the highest score of any cowboy defensive player yesterday with an 80.4 overall grade.

Quinn was a beast in pass rush but sucks against the run. He got a horrific score of 29.6 against the run but a stellar 81.1 in pass rush. No player had anywhere close to that kind of disparity.

Witten mostly outplayed Jarwin, though both had bad games. I know we all remember the 2 easy catches Witten missed, but there is more to playing TE than catching passes and Jarwin wasn't much better. Jarwin got him 41.7 in pass catching 32.2 for Witten. But Witten smoked Jarwin in run blocking and edged him out in pass protection. Jarwin's run blocking score was 40.1 to Witten's 56. Both scored over 70 in pass protection with Witten scoring a 75.1 vs Jarwins 71.1.

Top 5 offensive performers (more than 15 plays)

1. Zack Martin . 82.2
2. Connor Williams 76.5 . (might the best game of his career)
3. La El 75.3
4. Zeke 74.4
5. Nobody worth mentioning. Everyone else had a bad game with sub 60 scores. Pollard actully had the best grade with an 83 but only got 12 snaps.

Top 5 Defensive Performers

1. Heath 80.4
2. Woods 77.9
3. Jylon 73.7
4. Covington 73.3
5. DLAW 69.4

Appreciate the reporting my friend.

The offense was going to be a slog. We knew it immediately.
OL's get the advantage of wet jerseys and anticipation so they really should get better grades.
Zeke too.

Not surprised in the least at these grades for a game of this type.

And yet we throw the ball on 2 and 7 at the 11 yard line..........and then again on 3rd down.

As a side note, Heath was really in his element last night with no passing attack to put him in bad spots. He's a hitter and a tackler who excels in run defense. Perfect player for an offensive slog of a game.

I thought Cobb had a good game.

He made a few plays . His overall grade was 61 which isn't bad. PFF doesn't weight big plays which is why their scores don't always line up with our view of a players performance.

And then some wanted to go for it instead of a fg

Actually, we should have gone for it given the playing conditions and the way our defense was dominating their offense. Garret is being widely criticized for the gutless decision. Why kick a FG when you still need a TD after kicking the FG? Worst case, NE gets the ball on the 11 with the wind in their face. It was poor situational football. The entire last part of the drive was botched from the 2nd down call to the decision to kick a FG.

OL played well
RBs played well
QB played small, didn't think beforehand maybe would need gloves?
Defense overall played well.

Guilty parties:
Coaching
Special Teams
QB
Referees

The crazy thing is that it appeared as though Dak didn't know what to do with a wet ball. Was he not practicing with a wet ball to figure out how best to throw one?

The real difference between the Patriots and the Cowboys isn't talent. The patriots seem prepared for everything that could possibly happen. Dallas is not and is easily thrown off its game.

Neither surprises me. Heath is better than some want to believe and Quinn is a one-trick pony.

Heath was off the chain yesterday. Have to give him credit. Lol

PFF grades are always a surprise. Especially to the guys at PFF that make them up.

Which ones suprise you? I heard a few talking about how good CWill played and Heath was evident watching the game.

The grades don't surprise me. The fact someone is stupid enough to start a thread about PFF grades is kind of surprising.

Until I see who did it.
