Trysten Hill got suspended after throwing a punch last Thanksgiving but I think this was a much different situation. Hill's was postgame and I don't think helmets were on, etc..

Whatever. Gates ran his mouth and found out. Imagine challenging a guy, taking an open-hand blow to the face and doing nothing about it beyond joking that the other guy is going to get fined. He must not like his manhood.

What's incoherent about it? Gates said he has to do "other things to help the team" and Micah explained what those "other things" are, in his opinion.

Yes, they suspended Mike Evans early this season for an on field shove on the cornerback this season in Week 2, and it cost him the premier nationally televised game vs Goodell's beloved Green Bay squad that the Bucs lost to only because they didn't have enough receiving talent to score just enough points and barely lost.

So there is definitely precedent.

The league overlords don't give a rat's sass about that. The NFL is all about sending messages to players and that no one, not even premier players like Tom Brady, Zeke Elliott, Adrian Peterson, Ben R., Mike Evans, Parsons, Suh, Ray Rice, Deshaun Watson or Coach Sean Payton are above the rules. Only Daddy Rodgers aka God Almighty #12 in puke and piss reigns above Roger Goodell's head.

SNF has been stuck with crappy matchups with little to talk about plenty of times before and trust me, that is the last thing the NFL is concerned with.

Parsons may, could, and very well might be suspended.
