At the end of a very hard fought game, when Austin caught the game winner and everyone ran on the field, I couldn't help but think that maybe this is the game that turns around the season. The joy on the players, showing some damn passion at last, I was very happy with the win. However, it is time for Flozell Adams to be benched for his crap.

Flozell needs a coach who will get in his face and let him know this crap has to end. Patting him on the butt after he comes off the field after a 3 and an out due to his penalty isn't going to correct the problem.

I felt the same way when they mobbed Austin in the end zone. It was reminscent of a walkoff celebration in baseball. Anything that can spark some unity of purpose with this team is a good thing. I am happy about this win. It's better than a loss and I hope the Cowboys build something from it. They can start by addressing penalties and mistakes.

I would attribute it to being deaf in one ear, but he should know the count or wait for the snap of the ball. There's no excuse really. I wish Free was ready, but if he isn't, Flo is our only option.

There is some hope, in that many teams have started off poorly and then finished strongly.

The Giants and the Eagles are two notable examples in recent years.

The concern, relative to Dallas, is that both NY and Philly had coaching staffs that had experienced success before.

I don't see that with Wade and his crew.

I really think it has to be the players taking some kind of accountability for penalties. Coaches only can do so much. Not sure benching Flozell will solve it. I am not sure Free is ready to start yet. I think he can be pretty decent LT but not without help unlike Flozell, i.e. when Flozell plays well.

I have been less thrilled with their play at times.

However, I can't help but realize Dallas has lost two games that they just as easily could have or should have won against two team that are unbeaten.

Dallas death has been prematurely called.

yay togetherness!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Soooooper Bow here we kum!

Hey, we are 3-2 and both losses came against teams that are now 5-0 in close games. We have to play better, no doubt. Maybe we can clean some things up during the bye week - namely all the stupid penalties.

I was really happy to see the way the team celebrated at the end there. I don't know if it means a ton in the grand scheme of things but that sort of stuff is always cool for me to see.

Another thing, for the first time that I can remember, Romo looked like he was having fun again.

Yep. He looked pretty good out there today and looked like he was having a nice time.

Good to see the players enjoy the moment, but there shouldn't have come a moment where the players were celebrating as if they clinched a playoff win or just beat a legit opponent (ie Denver beating NE).

I remember when we used to celebrate Superbowls.

We've come a long way baby. :banghead:

It was great. That win was hard fought and I am VERY happy for the win.
As much as this team has shot itself in the foot and struggled in the redzone the fact they can stay close to the end or even win against teams makes me feel there is a lot of potential.

He did. He is either up or down, not much in between.

I just said last week that I like the character of this team. I think they want to do things right and win games. That's why i wasn't worried about the drama over that stupid Champ Bailey interception last week; I believed that Romo and Miles both wanted to work that out so it didn't happen again...

I think this team is closer than some recent teams. They still have to produce on the field, and they can be frustrating when they are killing themselves with stupid plays, but I do like almost every guy on this team. That's a nice thing.
