I’m keeping Tyron at left tackle and find me a center that’s the weakest point on our line and I think it has a lot to do with our running game or should I say lack of
I think this is what I’d like to see. Give Tyron a 1 year deal and go all in on Mikes last year of contract.

Seems risky banking on Tyron being healthy. Plus, it's not like Steele killed it last year post knee - surgery. Having options at OT would be smart whether that be draft a legit OT in the first or even an interior player that could help slide Tyler to OT if that's how they want to do it.

Would be nice to get a new OL coach in here and help sift all this out.

Yea but you can't assume health.

You're not going all in without investing at LT too.
You can’t…but last year seemed to be the blueprint to help limiting the practice reps. You have to hope there is some development from Richards and Tyler could kick out if he had too seeing how Bass filled in nicely. I’d be fine with flipping the scenario and keeping Tyler B but I think there is more opportunity for upgrade than at LT…where you’ll likely see lesser production in year 1.

Positional value also factors in as I’d believe Tyron would take a massive discount.

Will be very interesting come FA and the draft. Will they be more aggressive this year ?
History says no, but is there way more pressure to achieve more with McClay on a lame duck year....
I've said Both - I would like to resign Tyron for 1 2 more years, knowing he will have to be spelled at some point. And draftva LT now, as it seems this early to be the sweet spot at #24.
However.
Replacing our center is also a high priority.
If we stayed the course with Tyron, Tyler and Bass for the left side (bass as the backup).
Would anyone consider grabbing Powers-johnson at 24 ? Or wait till 2nd round for Van Pran, knowing both may be gone by #56. I love the idea of a stable 320 pounder holding down the Center !
Will be a position and players to watch as we go thru the buildup to the draft !
