The sample size is far to small to really take anything from this. On top of that, I want a sub 50% completion percentage. Not 63%.

There has been a lot of talk about him improving this year. This is good, but I will withhold judgement at least until he has played eight games.

Sub 50% comp is a mighty high bar to set
He's not Sherman

...but did you see him in the first three games? He is a CB GOD!!!! At least so many users here want to anoint him as such. The Cowboys were also the best team in the league until we got whipped by the Falcons even though we've struggled in every game in one form or another.

My recollection is it was the Dallas Front Office who indicated the Mo Claiborne was the best CB prospect to come out of the NFL draft since 1989 when Deion Sanders was drafted by Atlanta.

In other words, the best CB prospect in a quarter century. A generational talent.

He's finally healthy and his back is against the wall.. Having said that even if he has a breakout year the only way I extend him is with a heavy Incentive laden contract which requires Both performance and time In the field..

In other words his job is under scrutiny Every Sunday..

Furthermore I would give bonuses for picks starting at 3-4 min. If he has less than 3 on the season, no bonus...

I don't see anyone annointing Mo a god. People recognize he has been our best defensive back by a landslide and he deserves credit for that. Nobody thought Dallas was the best team in the league. Most here had them losing.

I have been disappointed with MO so far in his career.. but I will not act like he hasnt been playing well so far this year... Also I wanted him out of all our corners to cover Julio.. and he did a pretty good job considering its julio.. mo still had some plays and nice coverages for incomplete passes.. if he would of made that interception.. it would have been a real good day for MO against julio

we shall see if he can keep it up. To be blunt 81.3 rating and 63% completion percentage does not thrill me.

If Mo has a good year, or even first half, I would like yo see something like 3 years 15 mil with games played and other incentives that could push him closer to 7.5 per year.

If that won't get him signed, move on along.

There go you cheepos. Let Mo test the market.

then those 8 games turn to 16 and those 16 games turn into its a contract yr. it never stops when you cant aopreciate improvement.

What in hell are you talking about? He was billed as the best CB to come out of the draft since Deion Sanders!

The expectations before he came into the league don't really matter anymore. All that matters is what's on NFL tape and he's had a good start this season. You can say he has played well and also that you want to see him do it all season.

Well now you've learned something
The draft is not an exact science
If it was Richard Sherman wouldn't have fallen in the draft
Tom Brady, tony Romo and dozens more would have went in the first round
Ryan leaf would have went undrafted
That doesn't take away from the fact that very few cb's in the nfl have sub 50% comp pct and it's unrealistic to think Mo will

Going to sound like a broken record here......I'm sticking with my prediction that Mo will be a Cowboy next year.

This guy is as natural of a cb i have seen in a long time. He has a great feel for the position and the game.

When i watch him play, how smooth he looks and how easy his movement is i get the chills every time. From a natural talent for me he is a joy to watch.

Saying that i dont see any reason for Dallas to let him walk. Given his injuries and that (hopefully) this will be his first season he is able to show his potential i think Dallas may get him at a brgain price. Another reason to sign him.

I hope he wont suffer another injury setback.

I am in love with this guy. Cant say it enough. First time since Deion that i witness real CB talent in Dallas.

First time in a long time that i really felt bad for a player that he got hurt so many times and for all the negativ publicity he got. Wasnt fair in my view.

I really wish him to be successfull.

Those are below average numbers for a quarterback nowadays.

really? I think you need to do a little research. 19 QBs currently have both higher ratings and higher percentage completions.

for all of 2014 17 QBs had better stats there. So Mo's stats are frankly mediocre.

You really shouldn't need stats to see how he played Beckham and Julio was a far cry form anyone else on this team and most others, much less his poor play of last year.
