The Cowboys currently have three WRs in the Top 10 in the entire NFL in receiving average per catch.

#1 - Miles Austin - 22.7
#8 - Roy Williams - 17.1
#9 - Patrick Crayton - 16.6

Just something I noticed, and don't remember ever seeing something like this for Cowboys receivers...

In lamens terms, on average, every time one of our 3 recievers catches a football its at least a 15 yard gain.

But some people say we should run more often?

Surprisingly, Tony's only 4th in the league in YPA, behind Brees, Rodgers and Roethlisberger. The reason is that his completion percentage has been coming down - 60.2% this year and 61.3% last year, after being above 64% his first two years.

That Giants game hosed him in a lot of stats including that one. It was just bad.

I think as he and RW continue to iron things out the completion percentage will improve.

He is first in yards per pass completion.

He is throwing to Roy Williams now, so RW#11's horrible timing and route running are bringing Rompo's completion percentage down. LOL. Sorry guys. I couldn't resist! LOL

so when he does connect, it's a lot of yards. I like YPA because it takes in to account incompletions.

THAT is the very reason WE SHOULD run more often. We cannot depend on an average of 15 yards BUT if we RUN MORE chances are the 15 yards are more likely to be there than not(when we really need it).
