Interesting Dilemma

So Adrian Peterson is from the same town as me (Palestine) and I had the pleasure of watching him play ball in high school. (he was a FREAK) Naturally, I am a fan of his as are most of the residents of my town including my wife. She got to know AD very well as she is an Occupational Therapist and did lots of work on his shoulder during his high school career. Now, I root for Peterson to do well (more so than the Vikings) AS LONG AS THEY'RE NOT PLAYING THE COWBOYS. My wife on the other hand has informed me that she's wearing her Peterson jersey and cannot "root against him". So my dilemma.....

Should I even bother turning the TV so that she can see the game through the window?

Opinions please....

(and no I cannot afford a divorce) :laugh2:

Short term legal separation would seem to be the most expedient remedy.

Let her root for him if he's a home town hero and she's not a football fan.

David Griggs, John Taylor and Dwight Hicks are 3 guys from my home town who made the pro's. Taylor and Hicks both played with the Super bowl champion 49ers. Hicks made some key plays during his days with them, even made a pick in their 1st SB. John Taylor, as may know, made the game winning catch with like 30 seconds left in a SB XXIII. David Griggs also played for the SD Chargers in their SB loss to the 49ers.

All of those guys are loved for what they did in the NFL. Griggs will always be missed.

You should make both of her eyes the same color as that purple Vikings jersey of hers. :laugh2:

I'm joking.

Mostly.

But seriously, don't beat your wife.....

unless the Cowboys lose.

Just let her know how much you love her after the Vikings lose.

This is spot on. I've tried in vain to get her interested in the game. I'll let her have her fun........outside.

No bad mojo for me.

Tell her to go to a chick flick with her bestest friends and not sully your living room with her voodoo.

Who cares let her watch. She'll only be disappointed as she watches AP and Company get beaten down by Dallas.
