Interesting Jeff Driskell possibly being the best QB in the 2016 NFL Draft ?

The kid was hot garage at Florida. He's an athlete and has an arm, but it takes a lot more than that to start at QB in the NFL. I'm not sure he sticks as a backup, even.

As a UF fan he got a raw deal that offense was not a fit for him at all. He was compared to Aikman when he signed with UF. If love to snag him and let him sit behind Romo. He's smart and has a strong arm and a very good athlete

I'm a UF fan too. (Go Gators!) I can see how the offense was a part of it, but he wasn't accurate and made poor decisions. I don't think a new system is going to change that.

If scouts think he's worth it, who the hell am I to disagree. But I personally just didn't see it at UF.

Another thing to consider about these guys that stuggle early in college is that they are still 18-19 years old. Pure youth could have played a part

Yes, he's got all the tools. Needs to tighten some things up. But he's got what it takes to be a starter.

Big fan of Hogan. Would settle for Driskel in the 6th

I've watched a lot of tape on him, and I really like him.

But I also like Cook too, so maybe I'm just a terrible QB evaluator.

Driskell is more of a QB than Dak Prescott, who Dallas just seems to love. Driskell is more pedigreed and an even a better athlete than the "athletic" Dak Prescott. And Driskell's one season at La Tech was pretty good (4,000 passing yards 27 TDs 8 Ints). I take Driskell all day over any of the tier 3 and tier 4 QBs remaining, with exception of maybe Cardale Jones.

I like Vernon Adams too, but as UDFA.

Prescott was a lot better than Driskel in the SEC - on a completely different level. Driskel was a bad college QB for 4 years at Florida. How many bad college QBs go on to be good NFL QBs?

Driskel sucks as a qb. I watched him play a HS AA game and stopped worrying about him immediately. Bad decisions. Inaccurate

Watch any tape on him with La Tech? It's night and day. Driskel the Florida Gatorade Player of the year his Sr year in HS and was the top rated pro QB prospect by Rivals and Scouts.com. He was recruited by Urban Meyer to Florida to be a running QB in the Tebow mold but never played for Meyer. He had to learn to be a pocket passer. His inaccuracy and inconsistencies was due to a crap offense under Muschamp and he lost his confidence affecting his production and his starting job. But his performance after leaving the Gators is very interesting. He's got one of the best arms in this draft, very accurate downfield passer and his mobility is better than even Wentz or Lynch. Driskel has better size (6'4 235 vs. 6'2 220) than Prescott, better arm, and better speed/mobility (4.5 vs. 4.7). Prescott is so overrated. Prescott is Tebow lite, except his intangibles are not as good and his passing is slightly better (which really is NOT saying much).

EVERY single QB in this draft is a project. Not ONE of these guys can start day one in NFL, not even Goff. Give me the guy with the best NFL size, arm strength and mobility to develop 3-4 years behind Romo.

Muschump screwed him...... Quite literally

Peese didnt help.....literally

Basket case that has more upside than Wentz on down.......

Needs stability & good communicatier...... Romo would be perfect for this kid

Their are a couple mid round QBs i like but im really liking the idea of drafting Driskell with one of our late picks and signing Adams right after the draft ends. Keep Driskell on the roster and stash Adams on the practice squad.

I don't see anyone left outside of maybe Jones who has his upside. Strong arm, good feet and a tremendous athlete.

He was actually very good as a sophmore in Florida and 64% completion and 4000+ yds at La Tech is nothing to sneeze at.
