The gamebook hasn't been released yet, but the play by play shows our best drive as being the second series of the third quarter when we drove 54 yards in 10 plays for a FG.
What was evident in that series was the overall speed of execution. We went to the line early to snap the ball and we turned the play over quickly - even the pass plays.
In order to manage Drew's deficiencies we need to call for less progressions and get the ball off faster.
He hangs in there too long and as we progress to the end of this season we are going against stronger defences and the time available behind this line is not as good as it was earlier in the year. That's a fact we have to accept and manage.
The Cowboys have to be something different from the start of the year to make any noise towards the playoffs.
Drew will become the weaker link on this team along with the offensive line if we don't do something different soon.
