wonder if he can teach Al how to snap the ball without giving aways the count...

A proposal could be to make Bledsoe execute the signal instead of AJ snapping on cue...

It's kind of like a deaf center snapping the ball, Bledsoe has to GOOSE him for the snap signal... WOO HOOOOO!!

So with that said, why not look at other options. If Zim or Payton moves, there will be some movement. Sparano could very well move back to coaching just tight ends w/Pasqualoni possibly moving to another spot.

Okay, that's fine. But I don't want to judge Sparano to quickly. This line is a mess and perhaps not all of it (perhaps any of it) is his fault. Too many fat cats with big contracts are on that line and I'm not sure anyone could have motivated them or done any better with that crew than Sparano. Just be prepared for the strong possibility that Parcells retains Sparano for another year.

This would be a great move, and its no reflection on Sparano to make this hire, since it was injuries and fat contracts by players which is at fault, not his talent as OL coach. But to overlook a coach with working knowledge of what a great OL is supposed to look like would be stupid. We must have some contacts with KC due to the Pile and Fujita moves - this would be a nice guy to bring in, IMO. sounds like Bill's kinda guy...

Mike Solari is the one you want although it might take making him the offensive coordinator if Payton leaves.

Chiefs | Eatman will not return

Elizabeth Merrill, of the Kansas City Star, reports Kansas City Chiefs head coach Herman Edwards has informed assistant offensive line coach Irv Eatman that he will not be retained.

Granted I know we have Sparano. But I wouldn't turn my nose up at this guy. He's gotta know something or have learned something about keeping an OL together. KC's OL is one of the best in the league.

It would be interesting if Parcells interviews him; I get the impression that the Tuna is still looking for a good mix of assistants.

move Sparano back to TE coach, after all, he was pretty good in that capacity for us last year, and get this guy in here
