This thread doesn't really make any sense at all

If the Cowboys continue to lose..it won't be any different in any way as to what's transpired the last 30 years...will he be any more or less pissed? Who cares..the point would be, the franchise still wouldn't have figured out how to win

He'll be more pissed because he'll feel like he was duped into letting his stepson go.

I like what McCarthy has done. I’ll take it on face value at this point that McCarthy made the decision to keep Moore. I hope it’s true that he liked some of his play designs and plans on incorporating them to expand his system. I think it was important to clean house beyond that so as to not have a group of leftover coaches with a clear back channel to Jones. Yes, Moore could still do it but it’s a lot less likely that he would do that on his own versus having a group of guys supporting each other and deciding to go to Jones with a grievance. It’s now McCarthy’s job to mentor Moore and turn him into one of his guys.

You mean the path he seems to be straying from, by hiring a new coach and allowing him to overhaul the whole staff at his discretion?

As it stands right now, it appears that Kellen Moore may be the only holdover from the prior coaching staff. Regardless, it is clear that 1. Jerry is letting McCarthy pick his own staff, 2. Jerry is “eating” some coaching contracts with nothing in return and 3. I am pretty sure this would not have been Jerry’s preference.

If you assume all three above are true, how pissed is Jerry going to be if 1. The Cowboys seem dysfunctional early on, 2. Coaches he let go on to have success elsewhere, and 3. It really was a players issue all along?

Does Jerry say I was right all along, I’m playing it my way from now on regardless what the fans think? Does Jerry have a pissed off meltdown?
