Interesting question drawn from Nick Eatman's column today

Emmitt rushed 19 times for 92 yards and two touchdowns IN THE SECOND HALF of that game. On the go-ahead drive, he carried the ball on all but one play and gained all but 3 yards. On the next TD drive, he got the ball on all but two plays (one of which was a sack). So on our two biggest drives of the game, Emmitt got the ball 14 out of 17 plays, gained 86 of our 103 yards and scored both touchdowns. I'd say when you can do that in a Super Bowl, you're worthy of being the MVP.

i never said he wasn't worthy. of course he was worthy.

i just happen to think washington was MORE worthy.

and washington had two turnovers and a touchdown IN THE SECOND HALF, one allowing emmitt to have the ball at all.

I also agree I think Washington changed the tone for the game, Could care less who wins MVP, As long as we win the Superbowl!:starspin
