I don't know if this has been discussed in another thread but it is a very telling comment from BIGG.

Its from an article by Taylor from DMN.

I don't know why they haven't been coaching with the same kind of attitude until this week, but i hope they don't revert back to the old ways if/when we string a couple of wins together.

Yes he was, but it also reflects on the way they have been coaching until this week. No aggression, energy, grit, killer instinct, especially on defense. We have been reacting to what the offense does instead of dictating the tone and tempo of the game. We are still playing too far off the WRs but at least the players seem to respond well to the aggressive play calling the coaches showed on defense. Play to win the game, NOT not to lose it.

It sucks, but I don't think it's any secret that before Romo went down the D was being coached to keep us in the game and if they made mistakes Romo would save them. Without Romo against the Rams they were coached that if they just showed up with that gleaming star on the helmet and a roster with 13 pro-bowlers from the year before, the Rams would just lay down.

This week they were finally coached that it is *ALL* on them, and that any points they give up might not ever get taken back.

I've seen it mentioned before and I agree: Romo being out could end up being a blessing in the long run. This D has to harden and learn to take control of a game and not wait for Romo to save the day. Whether he is 100% healthy or not. No more waiting around for it to happen. They have to go out and make it happen.
