Interesting Romo-Kellen Moore factoid

Here is another interesting fact - a factoid is, by definition, not a little fact. It's something that seems to be a fact, but isn't. Of course it's being redefined simply because everyone misuses it.

Uh, according to Mirriam Webster and the Oxford Dictionary, a factoid is ALSO...

"a true, if brief or trivial item of news or information."

As I said, it's being redefined because so many people use it incorrectly. That is a recent addition because of the consistent incorrect use. I meant it literally, they are creating a new definition for it because of the overwhelming amount of people who use it incorrectly. So rather than having to tell everyone they are wrong, they simply change the meaning of the word to make them right.

There is two definitions for " factoid"

If we get derailed by an an argument over the definition of "factoid", this thread will go on to become the lamest thread in the history of the internet

Stop the madness

Romo must be more ambidextrous than that. He's that good.

This just in.........

Tony Romo has 114 career interceptions..........to Kellen Moore's 0;)

And more than likely one of those two numbers will never change :p

JK. Sorry had to do it, you like of left the door wide open.

Not hurting as much as this pointless post

I like how you used 'literally there (correct usage too), considering that literally is the poster child for words being used incorrectly and Webster giving up and making a new definition.
