I was just perusing QBR stuff for the season and saw that ESPN also has the top 50 games of all time QBR-wise. Romo has 7 of them. SEVEN. No one else even comes close. That's insane. I think the next closest is a couple of dudes at 3.*

*This is just about Romo and is not a comparison to our current starting QB who, btw, is leading the league in QBR again after this week.

I peered upon a stat that stated Prescott was 6-1 against top 5 defenses which is up there in the stratosphere with Tom Brady with the most in like the last 4 years of all active QB's.

But QBR is nice too!!

Yes that is because Romo was a freaking wizard back there and he was held back by an inept coaching staff.

Very interesting.

Not that surprised though as he carried us most of the time.

If he gets his job back his final year good chance we make the Super Bowl. Another mark against Garrett.
Agree and that's what riles so many people.

A team has never won a Superbowl with a rookie QB yet we stuck with Prescott with Romo fully healthy.

Some will argue that Romo would have got injured etc no worries, let him go out the game and bring in Prescott. I never really understand that argument!

Prescott didn't lose the play off game against the Packers, he played very well from half way through the second quarter onwards but given the defensive/coaching lapses that day we needed a Veteran QB to win the game against Rodgers in a shoot out.

It's not about Prescott v Romo but the difference between a rookie QB and a vet that has seen every defensive coverage and could audible out of any play etc.

The play when Prescott snapped the ball to stop the clock late on during regulation still haunts me when Romo would have carried on. Again, not on Prescott but that's what happens when you have a rookie playing in that type of game and environment. A vet would have carried on against a tired, depleted defense and would have known what play to run due to experience and it would not have left enough time for Rodgers at the end.

Yes, most reasonable cowboy fans realize what we wasted with Romo. Jason Garret couldn't win with Tom Brady as his QB.

You can mark it against Garrett if you want, but that'd be pretty damn foolish.

We had great QB play in our loss, and then our defense would have had to take on a truly elite offense after that game.
Yeah, Romo wouldn't have got us to the Super Bowl, some people need to stop dreaming.

Want to know who was #3 in QBR that year? I'll give you D4k guesses
