In these hours before free agency, it seems that there are more happenings than in years past (or maybe that's just me).

But it seems like there are a lot of teams making significant moves leading up to this year's 'meat market'.

Some teams are slashing and burning and cutting some well-known players.

Some have stocked up large amounts of cap room like Tampa Bay and Kansas City.

Some - like Dallas - are sending word out about trading current players.

And some - like Washington - have been yet again restructuring deals to clear cap space.

It seems to me that some people (like 'lil Danny) are planning on a league without a salary cap. The Commanders' reported interest in big-ticket item Albert Haynesworth says that to me anyway.

That said, in my mind, this looks like it could be one of the more interesting free agency periods we've seen for quite some time.

Reports are also saying that Washington will go after Dockery big time.

I just don't see how they do it. Do they just restructure everyone on the team now?

I think they're gambling on an uncapped league the same way they gambled (and won) about the CBA and salary cap a few years ago.
