Interesting Stats From the Game

Eagles had two drives where they only had to go 60 yards each time. Due to kicking out of bounds, and a face mask on a touch back……..3 phases matter

It boils down to this. With the game on the line the Eagles found ways to push the Cowboys back from their goal line. The Cowboys did not summon a champion's heart to protect their QB. I am sick of hearing this crap about a game of inches. Getting sacked 5 times and 4 of them coming in really critical situations, is the reason they lost. That's not about inches. It is about heart.

Except on the scoreboard where it matters most.
Yeah....if we played 10 times...we'd win 5 and they'd win 5.

Interesting...we had 2 more 1st downs given to us by penalty than they did. That's much more significant than 10 vs 9 flags.

The game came down to who got it done in the redzone. One team executed the other didnt. We left 16 pts on the board. Eagles didnt. Bad coaching will always plague this team with Jerrah alive
The Eagles almost blew it when Jalen Carter jumped offsides and on that last fumble. It's interesting that the best team in the league does this as well.

Our defense failed us. 28 points against the Eagles is inexcusable. They also gave up lots of points to this same Eagles team last December. Dan Quinn is turning out to be another Marinelli.
Man ive been asking the same question..why is the "Strength" of this team getting a pass on allowing over the other teams point average...check out our opponents red zone TD% also..its high as hell

Neither team could run the ball. Penalties were even, with us getting penalized fewer yards. Total yards lopsided in our favor. Passing lopsided in our favor. Eagles outrushed us. Eagles more efficient on 3rd and 4th downs. We only had to punt twice. ToP close to even (that surprised me). Clean game as far as INT's--zero.
We win this game if our DLine knew how to line up properly behind the damn line of scrimmage.... how many games do we have to watch where we get called for this ****....no freaking awareness at all.

You'd think our coaching staff would have fixed this.

Heres a stat that hasn’t gotten better yet

Cowboys red zone rank….29th
Eagles red zone rank…….13th

Pollyanna says we’re better than the Jets, Giants and Titans so no need to bite one’s pillow

Hard to believe we’re worse than Pittsburgh

And how many plays and opportunities did we miss? How many unforced errors? 10+? u picked 2 plays for them. We had like 7 drops that game alone forget all the other stupid crap

We also had some good stuff like the qb throwing for 376. We certainly can move the ball on the Eagles who are now missing their tight end and their qb is banged up.

As if "bad coaching" was the reason Dak's foot stepped out or Schoonmaker's knee was down inches from the endzone.

Or 2 penalties for 10 yards with the game on the line. And schoon yes he should have gotten deeper in his route

They should have called interference too. I think that they didn't call it because they originally called it a touchdown.

Or he could have ran a half yard deeper and kept the refs out of it. Or martin could of blocked the free running blitzer. Or ferg could have run his pick better. All 3 players made a mistake. Bad coaching like usual

Teams are fairly evenly matched but they are far better coached and disciplined.

IMO ultimately it came down to Philly taking control of the game with their 21-3 spurt from midway 2nd quarter-end of 3rd quarter. They basically had the ball for the entire 3rd quarter. With that 28-17 lead, even with them kind of sputtering at the end, they had enough of a cushion to hold on.

Refs made a mistake too. It's over with. Time to move on.
