There is no way those bottom videos are from 1912.
It may be as old as from the 1950s, but I seriously doubt it is older than that.

It is still an impressive change and statement of today's athletes. Someone below that video did comment though ..
"For everyone who doesn't know, in the older days the floors and equipment weren't nearly as "springy", so the gymnasts had to create their own power. They were better than you think."

I wonder if it's possible to do a good side-by-side like that for 60's NFL vs today. Try and settle that age old argument about past athletes vs modern in other pro sports. Hard for someone to see the size differences in football decades comparisons with the gear and not much zoom on one player.
I don't know who all these gymnasts are and if they are comparing gold vs gold but assuming thye are, I think it's pretty easy to say gymnasts a few decades ago wouldn't stand a chance in today's sport.

Poker players at those stakes are different breeds...good and bad. Nothing I would have to worry about any time soon
