Interesting View: Super Bowl X Documentary

I saw a link to this. It was a documentary for Super Bowl X from 1976. It's a somewhat interesting look behind the scenes and what not of the game and the people involved. It's worth a watch.

Couple of takeaways:
  • It's very interesting to see how linemen have evolved. All of the linemen shown in the game have flat stomachs and look very lean. I have been aware of this, but it's interesting to see nonetheless.
  • Larry Cole violated the rules of The Zero Club by speaking on this.
  • Interesting to see when the game officials are walking on the field, one official said to another, "I'm going to be on that side." He pointed to the Steelers sideline. Foreshadowing for the game, where the Steelers were not penalized?

That game is still hard to think about,but not quite as hard as Super Bowl XXIII.

I think the Steelers earned that. Washington was not equipped to cover Swann. That performance got Swann in the Hall.
