NEW YORK (AP) - Eight international players have been added to the practice squad of eight NFL teams and will stay on them for the full 2005 season.

The eight will be on the practice squads of teams in the AFC West and NFC South, continuing a program that began last season, when NFC West teams carried one on their squads. Two of them, Mexican offensive lineman Rolando Cantu, who has signed with Arizona, and German defensive end Christian Mohr (Seattle) have been added to regular rosters for training camps.
The eight practice squad players for this year are Peter Heyer, a guard from Germany with Kansas City; Klaus Alinen, tight end, Finland, Atlanta; Richard Yancy, safety, Germany, San Diego; Michael Quarshie, lineman, Finland, Oakland; Anders Akerstrom, lineman, Norway, New Orleans; Claudius Osei, safety, Germany, Tampa Bay; Patrice Majondo-Mwamba, lineman, Belgium, Denver; Aden Durde, linebacker, Great Britain, Carolina.
