I have a question, I updated it like a month ago or whatever, and it was supposed to allow me to send and receive pictures. And cut and paste and forward.

Well I can cut and paste and forward, but I can't figure out how to send a picture message. Did anyone else have this problem, or did the software update not actually do this, or am I just ignorant?

I'm actually hoping for the latter, and have someone enlighten me

The ability is there to send MMS messages (pictures etc) but up until now AT&T is blocking it. Supposedly on Sept 25th, AT&T will start allowing it.

Sad as it is, I think that was the primary reason why I didn't get the iPhone when I had the opportunity.

All things being equal as far as my wants, that was a deal breaker for me.

It really is a hindrance. Someone will send me a picture in the moment or whatever, and then I have to go through a link online and its just a hassle and doesn't turn out to be worth it because its 50/50 on it actually showing up or not.

I miss my Blackberry sometimes.

I've never quite understood how a phone that can do so much doesn't have what is basically a standard feature nowadays.

Yeah apparently they are adding it on. So I am pretty sure this is the last phone I will have for a long time.

I've been sending pictures, videos, and texts for a few weeks now.

I did a Jailbreak to my phone though.

It's NOT the phone that isn't allowing you to do these things. It's AT&T.

Before I JB'd my phone I just emailed and told people to email me pictures.

As an alternative you can use twitpic and twitvid.
