Apple put out there Q1 info and it looks like the iPhone has sold 37M units.

Up like some crazy amount like 128% compared to last year during the same quarter.

They didn't break down which models sold what but with numbers like that it'd be pretty hard to believe the 4S didn't contribute a good portion.

And some thought it wouldn't sell.

It's actually very cool. I just haven't switched over from the 3, as with a lot of people. So stock should hold steady or rise in the near future at least.

It's amazing they did it without really even updating the phone that much. Imagine what the iPhone 5 numbers will be like.

What's really driving growth now, I think, is that Apple is completely taking over the enterprise market. This chart represents % of enterprise activations for the 4th quarter:

It's crazy. Just 10 years ago, these types of numbers on a expensive consumer devices would not have been possible.

This is why listening to the doom and gloom on the news about the market is full of crap. The economy is definitely moving forward, yet the news always try to tell you that it's a bear market. Jobless claims are going down and Americans are spending more. The recovery is on.

Well I'd argue that the iPhone sucks....

I'm an Android guy and I wouldn't say iPhones suck. I would just say they aren't as good as Android phones. Now Blackberries? Yeah, they suck. :laugh2:

For $700 iPhones suck.
