As a person who resented Apple getting in the iPhone market, I stand corrected...

Apple changed the game for everyone... I just got my iPhone 4s and I am blown away...

I was perfectly happy with my 3gs... My new 4s makes me hate my 3gs...

This phone is AMAZINGLY fast and intuitive... Siri will change the market once again...

This will also benefit Android users as they have to man up...

Everyone wins in this scenario...

My contract runs out in a few months and by then the i5 hopefully be out.

I just posted this by talking to my phone using Siri. You can now text talk while driving so it's only half as dangerous to you and other drivers

Android has always had voice to text for input. The thing it didn't have was the ability to open an app with a voice command. Although Iris was released 8 hours after the iPhone4S was released.

Not anywhere near polished from what I hear.

That's one of those things for any phone that will improve with time. Siri is pretty good and learns as it goes. My wife is originally from Mexico, so she speaks with an accent... no... not like Rosie Perez but rather like a female Ricardo Motalban... The first couple of minutes Siri had trouble understanding her. It kept asking what she meant and giving us options to clarify. By doing that, within about 5 minutes it understood her perfectly from then on...

This is the next big thing for Smart Phones... that and NFL...

Looking forward to 5.0.1 to fix the battery drain issue with iOS 5. It's apparently not limited to just the 4S. I have the iPhone 4.

“A small number of customers have reported lower than expected battery life on iOS 5 devices. We have found a few bugs that are affecting battery life and we will release a software update to address those in a few weeks.”

Personally I haven't noticed. I had heard about it and looked up what to do. I disabled iCloud and got a full 14 hours yesterday until I put it in the charger last night...

The other nice thing is iMessaging...

You can text to other iPhone/iPad/Touch users without a texting plan if you all have the most current OS... works on any phone from 3gs and up...

It's really a (needed) kick to the balls to those carriers that rip us off with texting plans...

It probably has to do with a couple of new services on the new OS. I must not be running them, because my phone lasts 18 hours a day.

No daughter txts like mad, but I don't allow her to have a data plan.

Some people don't want/need smartphones. I use Verizon and since they no longer offer unlimited, I don't want to spend 150$ a month to check facebook and CZ.

If I had to get one I'd go with Sprint. The unlimited everything for 80$ is a pretty sweet deal.
