This is a story?

Irsay is getting blasted for this.

1. He hoped to have won more than one SB.
2. He is not wrong in saying this.
3. 7 out of 11 1st round exits.
4. Having Belichick outmastermind Peyton perennially.
5. Everyone blaming their defense.
6. Peyton was turning over the ball.
7. But... He was and still is....golden boy.... Sooooo

Irsay is a nutjob.

But he's right in someways. However I think the blame belongs with his GM not the QB.

I agree, the blame should've gone to Bill Polian for not building a better team. Their defense had never been good, even when Dungy, a defensive minded coach, was head coach. It's Polian's fault that they never had any good defensive talent. How is it that Ozzie Newsome was able to find good players to reload through the draft and build depth, and Polian couldn't even find good starters?

None of that is Peyton's fault. Yeah, he could've performed better in the playoffs, but I don't think his post season success should be compared to Brady's, when Brady hasn't won a Super Bowl since Belicheck got caught cheating.

Sounds like he's just trying to add some fuel to the fire for Sunday. Trust me man you're not going to need to poke Peyton with a stick on this deal. He's coming in Sunday night to play his *** off and light up your team.

Irsay is a guy who was born on third base and swears he got a triple. It's not like the Colts won anything because of him, if anything they won sin spite of him and his weird twitter pictures. He should be glad we won the Colts in the lawsuit with his stepmother and they let him wear that ring around.

One person does not make a team, but I will say this, look what happened in year one to the Colts without Manning.
