Serious question: How do you know if NFL merch actually is authentic? I hear the pirates are really good at making their knock-offs look real and even getting it carried in stores. If you find a Navy blue Dez jersey in a store, how do you know for certain that it's real? What about if you find it on Amazon? I suspect quite a lot of people who have bought pirate merch don't even realize it's pirated.

Knock-off merchandise isn't that highly quality for the most. It may be stitched and they might get the logos right, but generally something is gonna be off about it. The material might be lower quality, the numbers aren't quite the right size or names might flat out be wrong. I've seen a number of "Whitten" and "Irving" knockoffs lately.

Totally worth it, though. 110 for a jersey is hwy robbery.

I've bought a white Dez and blue Romo Reebok jersey in the past two years (one each) on sale from the Cowboys official store for $60. I don't care at all that they aren't Nike or that they're screen-printed.

I'm sure there are some good copies out there, but the few knockoffs I've actually laid hands on were very obviously not the real thing. I've seen pictures of them coming in with misspelled names on the back, even.

well you cannot blame me for seeing the title and thinking, "gimme, that might be a post wif a plausible relevance and stuff." so I took a chance and regret loosing 30 seconds of meine important time and now more seconds responding to you, a indignant conoseur of irrelevant posts.
So I feel I am like a minute out as far as time.
But I just know you will benefit from it and gain "merch" saavy.

Screw the NFL and their revenue. I'll buy whatever I want. The police aren't coming for my clothes they're too busy with player crimes.

Take a valium. I was writing about an ad that came on during the game. My post was relevant and you did not have to click on it if you weren't interested. You did not have to keep reading if you clicked on it by mistake. Here's your 30 seconds back:

If you waste them on a reply you have no one to blame but yourself.

Just buy from the NFL shop or Cowboys website and give yourself some ease of mind. The only other place that might have merchandise on sale or for a good price might be Hibbets, Champs, Eastbay, Finishline, Footaction or Footlocker. If it is not from one of those sources I would not buy it.
