University of Georgia defensive tackle Corvey Irvin has taken official visits with the Detroit Lions and the Buffalo Bills, according to Scout.com.

Irvin conducted formal interviews with the Arizona Cardinals, Carolina Panthers and the Dallas Cowboys at the NFL Scouting Combine.

The 6′3,” 301-pound defensive lineman ran the 40-yard dash in 4.96 seconds at the combine, bench pressing 225 pounds 24 times.

Invited to the Senior Bowl, Irvin recorded 34 tackles and three sacks last season.

The junior college transfer had three tackles and a sack in a Capital One Bowl victory over Michigan State.

i think the cowboys are covering themselves in lower rounds by looking at defensive tackles that can play NT

we just need a tough unselfish hole stuffer--can get a good one in later rounds
