Do what?don’t do that
Do what?don’t do that
is he out of jail yet. he got into a lot of trouble for banking fraud.Keith Brooking punched out Terrance Newman..... Brooking became the leader when he was here...I wouldn't mind him as coach.
Is this the same Irvin that stabbed a team mate in the neck because he sitting in his chair before a haircut? Those Dallas fans out there that actually have seen the Cowboys make it to NFC title games and even Superbowls know what is going on the past 25 years is unacceptable. The Dallas Cowboys W-E-R-E what the New England currently A-R-E ! ! !
Sure it will not happen because Micheal Bennett doesn't want to play for a DIVA organization (IE: Dallas), but the last time the Cowboys had a player that would rip into the Cowboys, when they didn't play up to championship level, was Micheal Irvin ( and Jimmy Johnson). Currently, this team is made up of clapping puppet on the sideline and players lend encouragment/support/sympathy. Basically, the millennium way of live. Don't offend anyone and hurt someone's feelings. The saying of spare the rod and spoil the child is relevant with this Cowboys team the past 25 yrs.
What made the Baltimore Ravens a tough team in their Superbowl years---Ray Lewis and he would put his foot into his players butts to play better.
Chicago Bears had Mike Singeltary. New York Giants had Bill Parcells & Lawrence Taylor.
Bill Belicheck doesn't put up with it either. It is Belicheck's way or you are gone.
Has there been a player on the Dallas Cowboys--since Irvin/Johnson--that would be the a ticked off leader?

that's the great bill parcells. and he left this team with 13 pro bowlers. hardly swiss cheese. singletary retired in 2008. salary cap has been around since 1994. but his screaming didn't help as a coach of the 49ers.Singletary and Giants Parcells were a completely different era like before the salary cap and had a completely different CBA to work with. Talking about Parcells who didn't win any Super Bowls while in Dallas, also the first things he did was bring in some of his retread players like Bledsoe and Richie Anderson which helped ZERO.
.
I am not a Bennett fan but consider this. He's new to the team and is only a few games in, why does he feel the need to explode? Well, there is his history and he was suspended by Belichick so he is a little different but how many new guys do you see step into a leadership role on a team? There's a pecking order and new guys are not expected to do anything but do their job.
He felt the need to step up because his perception was that no one else was going to do that. In his short time on the team, he has already recognized the root of the problem with the team, it's all window dressing. Imagine his smile at that stupid "Hot Boyz" label Lawrence bestowed upon the mediocre DL, one that gave up 270 rush yards in the playoffs.
Bennett wasn't screaming at the coaches or the players, he was screaming at the culture that creates this, that allows this. A culture that rewards failure. That Star that Booger erected was all about his ego, his players did not earn that. What he should have done is show them the plans for that, the reward for achieving the goal instead of rewarding them for mediocrity and sympathy for screwing up.
What do you think most of the good teams would have done with Gregory the first time be screwed up? What do you think Johnson or Parcells would have done with a player choosing to get high over his career and his teammates? What do you think most good teams would have done with a player that killed another player from drunk driving?
Someone creates the culture of the team. Most owners and GM's depend on the coach to do that. If they don't keep Bennett, as outspoken as he is, aren't you looking forward to what he has to say?
Keith Brooking punched out Terrance Newman..... Brooking became the leader when he was here...I wouldn't mind him as coach.
Booger reasserted his "this is MY team" because it was dangerously becoming Parcells team. This is what handicaps the head coach (not absolving Garrett here but he wasn’t helped by this). Jerry forced Terrell Owens on Parcells. I’m sure that made Bill happy.
Yep, the heart and soul of 3 Superbowl championships. Is this the same Irvin that stabbed a team mate in the neck because he sitting in his chair before a haircut?
You guys are funny. That's the only reason Irvin was tolerated. If Dallas had been losing those, he'd been labeled a cancer and ran off the team.Yep, the heart and soul of 3 Superbowl championships.

And conditioning issues. Fans forget he was to often on the sideline sucking air when he should have been in the game.Dez the diva tried to be that, but he had effort issues.
millennials are the children of boomers. they are influenced by their parents, the regions where they live and other social factors. the fact they are comfortable with the digital age in no way lessens them as a generation. among their ranks there are good and bad. smart and dumb. ambitious and lazy. just like every other generation.
I thought Zeke would be a tone setter especially after what did in college with winning. But I was wrong.
Or using air running his yap.And conditioning issues. Fans forget he was to often on the sideline sucking air when he should have been in the game.
