Was a little disappointed no one else on the D-Line showed up after what they did last week.

Our linebackers finally showed something though.

I think we'll be able to keep him cheap. He's not quite stout enough to play an every down 5T in a 3-4, and he's also not quick enough to match up against tackles as a DE in a 4-3. He's playing a nice little niche role for us next to a stout 1T.

I know Rodgers seems like he is off this season, but still, for our defense to go to their house and slow them down for the majority of the game like they did, it was impressive.

Maybe they are better than we wanted to give them credit for?

I'm sure that ego of his had him thinking this was a "get right" game,,, wrong!

Probably not a disciplined player, but I haven't watched film.
I think a lot of it has to do with the injuries that he has had. IMO, they are trying not to overuse him until he is 100% healthy and 100% in shape after missing practices with injuries.

Very glad to see Irving play like the disruptor he is. We saw glimpses of this last year and I had high hopes for him this year. He showed what he is capable of when healthy; and boy, he was a one man wrecking crew out there. Even tried to fly in an attempt to block a kick.

Loved it.....:starspin:
