Irving has one week exemption

May have missed this posted in a thread but here's the answer why we aren't having to cut someone yet. If someone could look up the drop dead date for a cut I'd appreciate it. Appears to be Monday or Tuesday of next week. I don't know if he's going to be active for the GB game or not nor how that would affect the active roster number.

edit- Adam Schefter just said someone would still have to be cut if he wants to play this week

He DAMN well better play this week. Guy cost us a game (we beat the Rams with him IMO) and from all accounts about his 'boxer training' should be ready to go.

You may be right. OTOH, he may not be ready for too many snaps yet. I'd say 10-15 is most likely probably on the ten side. We'll see. I'm assuming he is going to practice wide open and that should clue the staff in on how to divide the snap rotation or whether to activate him for GB.

I think you are giving this guy too much credit. Sure he may have made a difference if it was one of his 5 games a season that he shows up. The guy seems to disappear for multiple games at a time and then bam...he's a 1 game wrecking crew.

He already can practice no matter what. Exemption is for if they want him to only practice and not play for another week. But that's not happening, he is playing. Someone is cut by Saturday afternoon.

Well that one BAM game has been better than most other players on D we have had.

Last I checked guns were legal in the US + Cowboys always had guns. A special exemption should be made for us just as a special exemption was made for the Lambo leap.
