Irving looks fantastic, but it doesn't matter as long as we have Rod as our DC. He loves him some Nick Hayden. Mr. Blown Off The LOS.

i remember when we signed him a lot of guys on the board said they were really high on him and even wanted us to take him in the draft but i guess he had really big character concern issues. but yeah so far hes been a stud. hopefully becomes a steal!

Is it just me or did we get an UDFA off of a practice squad and he's already our 2nd best player on D, and better than Crawford already??

Hopefully it was more than just a good game but the guy looked incredible.

We'll need a couple of these guys after blowing 9 mill a year on a 4 mill a year talent in Crawford.

The guy has an insane wingspan, and some power behind those arms. Very impressed with him, one of the positives of an otherwise awful run of games

Collinsworth was gushing about him all night and for good reason. He also had the blocked kick last week and was all over the place during the NO game. We signed that Crawford deal too fast IMO.

I know what the cowboys were trying to do with that contract, but the amount they paid made no sense. $9M is what he would have accepted if he got 7 sacks this year and was super disruptive.... so why sign him to the max contract before he's even fulfilled what his potential is? What's there to gain? Problem now is that guys like Irving and Jack Crawford are doing more in games, and that's unacceptable

It looks like the needle is pointing up on him.

As much as I was pleasantly surprised by his disruptive play, I was equally feeling that we are going to regret that big money contract to T. Crawford. Irving looked like what T. Crawford was last year.....and Tyrone has been looking like...well...not like Tyrone this year.

He seems like a great find, but as always use caution with small sample sizes.

I think the kid's legit. Few of us on the board wanted him in the draft. It's hard to compare because of the positions they play, but I think Irving can have as good or even better career than Gregory (and I'm really high on Gregory). I think the coaches are still trying to figure out where he'll excel the most at and once they do, I think you'll see his PT steadily increase.

I don't think Irving's going to play much 1tech anyway.

Character concerns? Uh Oh, are they assembling a gang or what? :)

He looked very good to me. Waiting for one of the Zone's scouts to do a write up.
