News: Is 2016 the best Dallas Cowboys regular season ever?

There was a spreadsheet I saw months ago that compared this team to the 1992, 1993, 1995, 2007, and 2014 versions. I saw it around mid-season, and it was pretty close to them in terms of team stats by that point in the season. I want to say it was eerily closest to the 1995 Cowboys.

In the NFL...13 wins are just that, 13 wins. You are what you are...favorites are allowed, but don't ignore the actual achievement.

It is a terrible league this year.

1971, 72, 73, 75, 76, 77, 78, 79, 80, 92, 93, 94, 95, 2009, 2014....

Many better teams than this. BUT THIS TEAM IS JUST GETTING STARTED!

not even close, they had at least 2 seasons where both offense and defense were top 3 . Plus the boys had no shutouts this year and only topped 40 one time

True. But they also got spanked in a few big losses every once in awhile. 2016 lost twice by 4 points total. Philly beat the 1992 team 31-7, and the Niners beat 1995's team 38-20, etc.
