No, he'll be fine. He's healthy and will play fine. I have no idea why people are jumping all over this guy. Watch the Youtubes of him in camp. It seems pretty clear he's just not giving it 100% right now.

While the receiver will be running a hard crisp route, Henry is clearly just trotting around, going through the motions. He obviously won't be doing that on game day.

Does that make him lazy? Sure, it does. Does that make him an Achilles heel? Heck no.

I swear we here this every TC

His first one, it was "OMG We paid 10 millin dollars for this???!?!?!?!?!"

the next camp it was, "is he still hurt or something, this guy can't cover my grandmother?!?!?!?!?!!?!"

Now here we are this year, and what do you know. "we need to trade Henry, no wait let's stick a rookie in there, cause the rookies are playing good, and Henry is sucking. So lets start a rookie"

Regardless of the fact that it's TC. And all he's doing is getting familar with the playcalls and the coverage responbilites.

Ignoring the fact he's not playing for a job, like the rookies, so he doesn't have to use up all kind of energy and put himself in position to get injured again (T.G, Glenn, Burnnett)

Just absolutly dismissing the fact that, he never had played well in TC.

But of course he's gonna be the single reason why our defense fails.

I'm hoping our pass rush will be so good, that a guy like Dwayne Goodrich could cover just fine with it.

If Ware and Co do their job, then Henry will be fine....better than fine....he's a ball-hawk.

I certainly I want to see him in some game situations before I write him off. The game favors the offense players in these training camp situations so I'm not giving up on him just yet. And we are compairing him to the best cover corner in the league on the opposite side of the field in Newman.

Well, the consensus seems to be that with a more dynamic scheme, with a pass rush coming from various places, the ability of the dbs to nail their man will be even more critical than in a less aggressive scheme.

And AH looks like the weak link to a lot of folks.

But I prefer to look back on how he played in 05 in those games before he suffered the groin pull, and remember what his strengths are, and why he was brought in. AH has never been a "shut down cover corner". What he is a physical db who can match up against a bigger receiver and relish contact. He is also an asset blitzing, and covering the run along the periphery.

If HEALTHY, which he hasn't been for awhile, I don't think he is any liability.

I also think the coaches are considering the secondary as a whole, and how perhaps this year the safeties will actually be in a position and/or have the ability to help out the corners. Duh, instead of vice versa. Increased smarts and perhaps speed of the fs, and Roy played in a way that more successfully enhances his skills...instead of picking out one guy who is going to sink the ship, I kinda like thinking about how the boat can stay afloat because ALL hands are on deck.

If AH was so clear a weak link in the new system, something would have been done about it, I suspect.

i think it will be leonard davis and his poor pass blocking
Good grief, this is as bad as the Henry detractors. He has a problem with one guy, Ratliff in one on one blocking drills. The whole point of moving him to guard is that dt's can't run around him in tight quarters. In one on one drills you aren't protected, they are just drills to help you get better. Ratliff would have a tough time with Bigg in a real game because he would rarely get around him.
