Who know's what motivates players/coaches...that being said....does a Super Bowl appearance get Mike McCarthy in the HOF?

yep, and they should change the madden game to fat mike's (2024) and so on. Then people would start quoting stupid fans by saying, "this isn't fat mike's"

As an achievement a McCarthy Super Bowl Championship this year would be almost as impressive as Brady’s 35 combined playoff wins.

If Big Mike wins a SB with the Cowboys the answer is yes. Just an appearance, it's questionable.

McCarthy is more concerned with his job security being at stake than the HOF.

MM would have to walk on water to get this team to the SB. The HOF would be a secondary thought.

That can’t be accurate. Really?
It is accurate. No NFL head coach has ever won SBs with two different teams. There are five HCs who have taken two different teams to SBs, but none have won with both.

Those five are Don Shula (Colts and Dolphins), Dick Vermeil (eagles, rams), Dan Reeves (broncos, falcons), Bill Parcells (giants, Pats), Andy Reid (eagles, chiefs).

Just 25 head coaches in NFL history have appeared in more than one Super Bowl during their careers. No head coach has ever won a SB with two different teams at any point in NFL history.

Here‘s a link that backs that up: https://www.sportskeeda.com/nfl/5-nfl-hcs-took-two-different-teams-super-bowl-inc-andy-reid
