I think we need to see what TC brings. Are there other talents that get cut. How does her perform. What are we looking to do with teh offense. To many questions

Alfred Morris is good......don't know why all the hate. Good RB and model teammate. He got screwed by the Skins and has come to us with a great attitude. We should not let him go.....and I'd love to see the baseball swing after he enters the end zone.......over and over.

Morris is a one trick pony....... he was decent in the ZBS but can't get next level anymore

The whole second half looked like he was running in quicksand and he provides no passing game threat

DMC is the back-up and insurance plan....... Morris is a redundancy.... we need an athletic change of pace HR hitter special teams player

Can't we appreciate what we have......and not go from week to week casting hate on 'em. Seems the love is game to game for a lot of players on the roster from this forum.

Morris is done. Stick a fork in him.

I think we will see another running back brought in to develop. We may make a waiver claim at the final cut down.

Rod Smith could also serve as the 3rd RB and we could use Switzer as a change of pace 3rd down back.

Copy, I think for me subconsciously I still recall him moving the ball against us while wearing a Commanders uniform, that and not seeing much in the way of noteworthy production when given his limited opportunities. ( you never know though,in the like minded view of John Madden, he kinda strikes me as what Madden would call a 'mudder' I.e. a particular type of running back that takes control in the ground attack and is dominant on the playing field during extreme weather conditions, wet, muddy, slick slop playing conditions ,kinda hard seeing those type of games anymore with domed stadiums so in that respect I could be a
'Morris' fan and wouldn't mind seeing him on the team roster even if it's for only that one game during the season.)

As far as Morris' future on this team is concerned, I think a great deal will depend upon what happens to Zeke in terms of a possible suspension. I think it could go either way with Morris. If Rod Smith makes a real good impression in TC, it wouldn't likely stand Morris' chances of being retained in good stead, since only so many RBs can practically be retained. If Rod Smith fails to impress favorably, then Morris' chances to stick around would likely be good. Nothing is set in stone this year -- the overall competition will present some tough challenges for all.

No.

Morris' future depends on what happens with Darren McFadden. If Chicken Legs retires after winning a championship this year, Morris would be the backup.

Morris got the reps until McFadden got healthy, then McFadden took over - knowing the offense, etc. Morris is the next bridge veteran, just like McFadden was brought in as a bridge veteran for Murray/Randle.

I beg to differ. Morris was in grave danger of being traded or waived until Zeke pulled his stunt lately and is in jeopardy of sitting out for a suspension. He was used very sparingly last year and the reason for that was because he had lost a step and wasn't nearly as effective as he had been in the past. He'd be very fortunate to remain with the team next year and that's assuming we don't draft another RB by then.
