Is all the hype to much?

Hype is all over the place.

Minus a couple of injuries, and Henson struggling some, everything seems to be all up for the Dallas Cowboys.

Expectations really seem to be high, and mine are to, and it feels good.

But, at this point really how high should they be?

No hype could be higher then what is going on with Ware right now.

Everywhere you turn he is the annoited one. The man!

Predictions of breaking sack records, the savior, the real deal. Not one official whistle has blown and he is in the Pro-Bowl.

Are the expectatons being set to high for this rookie?

If he does fairly well for a rookie, and say gets 6 sacks will you feel let down, will people say he is not worth the 11th overall pick, will you give him some time?

Or is it boom or bust?

I am really excited about what Ware may bring to this team, and I love all the optimism, but has the bar been set to high from this young player out of Troy State who has yet to even play a Pre-Season game?

I am as excited as the next guy, but if things start slow for this team once things really kick off, I just hate to see what this board will be like.

Expecatations are high every year, for the first time in a a long while we have a legimate pass rusher, for the first time in a long time we have a chance at amking the playoffs, expactation are gonna be this high beasue we are"america's team", IMO this is good for the team, it gives them a chip on there shoulder, alot of people saywe're not going to do anything, yea we look on paper but we're to old, we're to young, i expect good things out of this team, and good things will happen

Anybody else find it strange that we are too old and too young? I can't ever remember another team from any sport that had that distinction.

You mean like 2 years ago? ;)

Hype is not going to make this kid a bust just as upside/potential does not make him a star.

We have seen kids throughout the league drafted with lofty expectations coming in. When thrown into the fire, some pop. Others do not. What is written and what is spoken about said player will have little to do with how he performs when it counts.

We have no idea how Ware or this team will perform. It's tough to translate this sort of thing based off what goes on in workouts or how a young man did in college. But the pressure of "hype" is not necessarily a bad thing.

Stop talking like this you are making me want to explode. I'm so ready to see the new look boys I can hardly stand it.

This might be the first time in a long time we have had a near overhaul of a team defense.

I think he's saying that people peg us as being too old or too young ... an 'either' 'or' type thing ... but neither specifically ...
