I don't know but in addition to being a great player, I think he's pretty clever. He's always complimenting his opponents when they make a play or hit him and I think it causes them to like him (or at least not hate him). I think that has a subconscious effect of players not wanting to hurt him. Its funny to see the defense help him up after they tackle him.

Luck may look like a "caveman" but he is one heck of a good QB. You will have your hands full tomorrow. This guy does it all, and in my opinion, the most talented young QB in the NFL. By far. And let him put the mistakes behind him, and he will be in the HOF one day. Both Brady and Manning are getting up there in age and I only see Luck as the QB of the future to replace either of them. And to me, Manning is a "choke" artist, so I still put Brady far above him. Forget stats, put him in a big game when it is on him.
So the analysts are saying the Boys will win. Not so sure about that. How would you like to have Luck as your QB right now?? No brainer. I think the Colts made a good choice (or lucky one - pardon the pun - in drafting Luck and letting Manning go). And a lot does have to do with luck. Who you draft. I used to have those thoughts about Carson Palmer, but then a cheap shot by the Steelers, and he was done for many years, so you never know.
Luck is a fun guy to watch - and always a danger, and in spite of my bias toward the Pats, I recognize talent when I see it. Who can you compare to Luck as your future QB?? Johnny WHO?? Not. RG3, not?? Who?? Who even comes close???

It's almost as if Luck wants to make himself look as unattractive as possible with his hair and beard. It appears to be an Amish style beard or something common during the civil war.
