Is anyone else concerned about Joseph

Yes he’s a rookie, but he’s playing against other backups and I haven’t been overly impressed. For a 2nd round pick I was hoping for more flash. He looks like a JAG.

I thought his only question was his off the field stuff. Unless he’s skipping practices and meetings to go rap, I’m surprised he’s not getting to balls the way Diggs did last year. It seemed like day 1 Diggs was always around the ball.

Obviously he can develop and contend for a starting job next year. Just surprising he hasn’t “popped”.

Maybe concerned isn’t the right word. More like surprised.

Al Harris needs to work w/ this kid some more...and he needs more snaps. Why we continue to waste time w/ Anthony Brown...who knows why???? All it really is doing is slowing down Joseph's development. The kid needs work...

He lacks experience. He only started 9 games in college.

He's made a couple of plays (and by that I mean pbu's or just incompletions), but he's given up more, and today against some scrub (well, I'm assuming the wr wasn't a starter, I don't actually know starters on other teams anymore). I was really hoping that Joseph would be an obvious upgrade over Brown by Oxnard, but it looks like he needs more seasoning.

Probably because they’re trying to win games this year and ABrown is much better than Joseph right now. Dude didn’t even play 10 games in college. He’s a long term project.

Ive found fans opinions of CB's tend to be either stars or trash. Usually isnt a middle ground. Brown had QB rating against of 79 (in only games) and 96 in 2019 and 2020 respectively. He is a league average type of a guy. Its alot to expect a rookie CB to come in and be even a league average player. Of the last 3 years, Denzel Ward was the only 1st round CB to give up a QB rating under 100 as a rookie. Diggs rookie season was an outlier

Diggs got burned and gave up way too many plays plays last season. At this point, Joseph looks better than Diggs did

I never liked the pick during the 2nd round. Always felt Joseph was no better than a late 3rd round pick, and it's showing so far. Cowboys overpicked for Joseph.

Not to me. Diggs looked much better last year as a rookie than Joseph looks this year as a rookie, and that's because Diggs started off his college career as a WR while Joseph has always been a CB.

My guess is a his grabbiness will cost us a game or two this year. He needs to watch that.

Joseph is also raw. He didn’t play many college games.

he needs time.

I’m not worried about it at this point in
His career. As long as he is working hard in practice and staying focused on football. He will get there.

so hes supposed to be great first PS what show out hes rookie CB who BTW Diggs struggle hard early..what the flip is up with expectations like HOF play for rookies or they are jag busts..

There's a reason why Brown is and was talked about being the starter even though Joseph has more upside.
