I know I am. There are facts pointing in each direction. Is there anyone else in the same boat as I am.

BP's team that he pick had different results. His pick for the Oline stunk it up, but the Defense he hand picked has dominant ability. Either he is dedicated by showing up to the Ranch today or he is cleaning out his desk. Jerry seems to want him back but does his new home want him more?

Obviously I am torn, and hopefully we find out the answer soon.

Nope, and it's not that i dont like the guy. He has done alot for this franchsie, pulling them up from the crap hole of the NFL, to at least a postion where we're in the playoff hunt. As long as we get a coach(young perferbly) that can take this team, and keep improving it, i'm all for it. But BP has done good while he was here, and i'd rather him leave now, then make a mistake next year, and have everybody riding his butt out of here

Part of me wants him gone, but another part of me wants him to stay. He has improved this team dramatically but I think he is just way too stubborn. Everything has to be his way and he needs all the attention. He will never bring in a young QB as long as he is here. He relies too much on veterans and not enough on young athletes.
If we can bring another coach in that is above average, i would be all for it. The team is headed in the right direction but i think we won't get over the hump with parcells. He's too much about trying to win right now then building for not so distant future.

I think if we as the fans could make a simple request to Parcells to make the offense more aggressive and enhance the Defense more by getting better with smarter and more durable players....

Demarcus Ware:: He actually did more than I expected him to do, he was a complete suprise to me....Almost every play he was in there, he got a whole lot of QB pressures, Demarcus was durable, I think he acutally should have got it, and I just guess Demarcus Ware is underrated any way, he doesn't get enough credit... He could do so much, diffently you're not really getting a put in the middle with the Defensive Tackles...

Marcus Spears:: He really showed me alot of flashes during the season, but either way you look at it... He wasn't really consistent... but I have to say he was a force...He's to be played with....

Kevin Burnett:: Now this is what I blame on Parcells, not enough playing time. I really think that Parcells has limited this rookie talents, by just playing him on special teams, I rarely seen Kevin Burnett out playing on the defense, and this is one hell of a player when he gets playing time... He is my projected starter for next season.....Bradie James and Kevin Burnett...

Marion Barber:: Nice pick, but again limited in play, when Julius Jones just couldn't get it going, Marion Barber was there to clean up, another mistake by Parcells for limiting this player talents....Marion Barber is a all-purpose back... He runs, blocks, and catches... He will be competing with Julius Jones for starter's position...

Chris Canty:: Chris Canty is really good, a monster, he does very good on the run, and he is a major force. Canty is another player that did more than I expected, I give Parcells a A+ for this one... Im really hoping Ellis don't leave, but if he does I see Chris Canty starting next season...

Rob Petitie:: He was what I expected, a off and on player, Parcells should understand, he needed to keep Dan Campbell back there to chip any aggressive Defensive End... but when Rob Petitie didn't get help he usually have a tough time with pure pass-rushers with speed like Julius Peppers, Bryce Fisher, and Chidi Okafer... I think Rob will be better next year as our Starter...Honestly this is a position we need to address...with a starter just to develope Rob Petitie skills...Can Flozzell Play RT and possibly sign Olando Pace for LT...I would love to see it..

Tyson Thompson:: I like him, another player that Parcells just didn't give enough time to, he was our best running back... He knows how to get yards... Everybody knows he fumble from time to time... even Marion Barber did at once... who don't fumble... but Parcells just tarnish his talents a bit.... Parcells limited him...

Anthony Henry:: Was good the first part of the season when it was warm, but when winter came Henry frozed up....Trade him, another cleveland brown injury prone player on us get a good draft choice, while everything looking good...

Jason Fergurson:: Just don't know what happen to this dude being all good... Herman Edwards polished this dude skills... Not Parcells, because Herman Edwards know things that makes him better... How long Parcells really coached him?

Drew Bledsoe:: Another dud... Another one to bite the dust... I just hope he give it up... I would love to see another one of Parcells special QBs to step up to the plate... I wonder who it is going to be next year? Brett Farve... 1 year deal; 1 year option... From my knowledge Bledsoe will be the starter unless Culpepper comes in the sattle... I wish... He's younger and he could scramble... Wow...If Culpepper a free agent this season coming up, Bledsoe will be traded, to somewhere like 49ers, or Oakland Raiders where that appreciate Quarterbacks that is on there way to the hall of fame...

Aaron Glenn:: I always like Aaron Glenn...nuff said

Marco Rivera:: *clearing throat*

Parcells has really tarnished this team badly... We as the fans not knowing all of our players business, was just alright, until Parcells came from our hated rivalry that we lost our playoff hopes to this year and who he coached to a superbowl when rivalries really hated each other... Now he coming to Dallas making us look even worst... Im tired of em let em go... We had a winning Quarterback in Quincy Carter... but yeah he messed up and smoked marijuana... but guess what? he could beat the Commanders and THE GIANTS high... DREW BLEDSOE can't even beat the Commanders because he can't move no where... We have a statue for a Quarterback...

I could admit Quincy Carter scramble his tail off for yards....and with Terry Glenn it was nice...

Thanks alot Parcells... Ekuban doing good...Antonio Bryant doing good... WHY? I want to ask Parcells WHY?

Other than the part about part of you wanting him to stay, I couldn't have said it better myself. Bill is just too darn stubborn. We will be better off without him. :)

Nope.

I want him back because he needs to finish what he starts unless for health reasons or some other important matter keeps him from doing that.

If he goes, I wont need any kleenexes either..

Cause he's too set in his ways. Carter can still play just as Ricky Williams, Leonard Little and Kerry Collins and Brian Griese can still play with substance abuse problems. Some of the backwards thinking people on this board think a qb is only good if he's pure pocket passer. Most of the pocket passers in the league now stink, like Collins, whom Carter has a 2-1 record against. If Parcells doesn't wake up and flush these dinosaur qb's off the roster and bring in qb's who can compete in todays NFL, we'll spend all of our cap money and draft picks to prop up a guy who holds the ball too long, instead of a guy who can make our OL look better. All we need is for Flozell to get well and bring Tom Ashworth at RT and Steve McNair or Culpepper at qb. Then we could spend our draft picks on tall speedy receivers like Todd Watkins and the one from Wisconsin. Why should the qb be the weakest athlete on the team when you can get athleticism along with qb skills?

how did i know K, but you are right about most of your point, we do need some athleticism with our QB, and not just pure pocket passers

I'd like him to stay, I wouldn't die if he left, but I may die on who Jerra brings in next.

A Hall of Fame coach might be leaving. So how do you feel?

I won't cry if he goes, but I'll be pissed if a Gailey-Campo-Turner type replaces him.

You know, after 3 greats at head coaches that have been dismissed by Jerry, I expect to be a little torn about Parcells.

Actually, after Jimmie J left I knew that Jerry would pull the trigger on anything that looks like an interregnal part of the Cowboys winning another Super Bowl.

...I'm cool with that

So if Jerry see's that this team isn't headed in the direction...hey, I'm all for change....but only if it is the right change for the team.

I was very excited when Jerry signed Parcells.I know
he has turned the franchise around and given us a team
that can compete for years to come. This team is on its way,
and although a dissapointing ending in the last month of this
season,i would be very concerned about who Jerry would bring
in next.I believe Bill has the ego to go with his girth, and would
not want to have his legacy tarnished.

I'm torn by what we might get from Parcells.

If we get a high energy, fresh off a contract extension Parcells, I'd be sad to see him leave.

If we get the almost disinterested Parcells we had down the stretch, just finishing out his contract, I'd want no part of an arrogant/lame duck coach.
