Is anyone else worried the video board will cost us a game?

Re-kicks tire out coverage units and we don't have a good one to begin with. So far McBriar's been able to avoid hitting it, but what if he's a bit off that day and a re-kick causes us to get scored on?

Nope. My only concern is with injuries. Running down or returning punts is violent.

i see other punters hitting it more than mcbriar. and that will tire out the opponent's coverage team...so nope.

1. I'm not sure anyone will hit it
2. Anyone thinking about hitting it or is not used to not thinking about it is
at a disadvantage (our kickers will be used to it)
3. cover team will be fine--if not I'd cut them and get someone who can run a few sprints

It will probably be single-handedly responsible for at least 4-5 additional losses this year.

I'm not worried about it costing a game.

I am worried about the possibility of punters getting rewarded for exceptionally crappy punts that go straight up and punished for an exceptionally good punts that catch a piece of the board.

Neither scenario are valid for a replay of downs, IMO.

Penalties resulting in re-kicks do as well. Settle down, Beavis.

Sorry I don't think the board is going to cost us a game.

Absolutely no way do we lose a game because of the video screen. :laugh2:

McBriar only came close to the thing once last night and that kick was caught near the sideline so I doubt the ball was even under the video screen when he was at it's apex.
