After losing their starting QB, the Commanders break the 9-9 tie with less than 6 minutes to play. Two point conversion makes it 17-9.

Crowd was loud and caused several false start penalties against the Stallions. Commanders have a real home field advantage with that crowd noise.

Johnny Eightball in the game for the Express. Started with a nice keeper on an RPO for a 1st down. A couple nice runs. showing some of his elusive scrambling, his 1st pass was a nice pass, but WR dropped it, Johnny came back with a nice deep pass for a long completion. Iron defense tough on the rush and Express seettle for FG attempt which of course doinks off the bar. Manziel not looking too bad for his first possession and only a couple days practice.

Manziel only got a couple series, but didn't look bad. Express makes a big comeback with Silvers to force the first ever AAF OT. OT each team gets the ball on the 10yd line and 4 downs to score, no FGs allowed. Express defense impressive and holds, Silvers throws a walk off TD. Exciting ending. Silvers played well in the 2nd half, hard to say how much playing time Manziel will get next week.

The majority owner of the Alliance of American Football told USA Today Sports that league is in danger of folding without help from the National Football League Players Association.

Tom Dundon, who became the AAF's chairman last month, told USA Today Sports in a recent interview that the NFLPA is not cooperating with the AAF by refusing to allow the first-year league to use young NFL players.

"If the players union is not going to give us young players, we can't be a development league," Dundon told USA Today Sports. "We are looking at our options, one of which is discontinuing the league."
